Dr. Mustafa Akkaya earned his medical degree from Gazi University (2003–2009). He completed his residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazit University (2009–2014). He holds a PhD in Musculoskeletal System and Regenerative Medicine from the same university (2016–2020).

In 2022, he received the European Knee Society Knee Arthroplasty Traveling Researcher Fellowship in robotic knee arthroplasty. He worked as a clinical researcher at Helios ENDO‑Klinik Hamburg (2021–2022), focusing on advanced joint surgery and prosthetic infections. He also worked as a clinical researcher at Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli, Bologna (2014), focusing on arthroscopic joint surgery, meniscus, and cartilage. In 2013, he held the same role at ATOS Clinic Heidelberg.

Clinical interests include joint surgery, knee and hip surgery, prosthetic infections, meniscus and cartilage surgery, and regenerative medicine.

Prof. Dr. Levent Bayam is a Professor of Orthopedics and Traumatology. He has over 20 years of experience in orthopedic surgery. He completed advanced training and held clinical roles in the United Kingdom and Canada. His training includes fellowships in hip and knee arthroplasty and postgraduate qualifications in trauma, orthopedics, and sports medicine.

His practice focuses on hip and knee replacement, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, trauma surgery, and the care of hip and foot fractures. His care is evidence-based and shaped by his international training and academic roles.
