A special mention must go to Ceyda, who stayed in communication with me via WhatsApp throughout my entire stay in Istanbul. Nurses came to my hotel every second day for lymphatic massages, and whenever I needed anything, the team was there to help. I never felt like I was left on my own once the surgery was over — the care and attention continued throughout my recovery. My recovery has been amazing, and I truly believe that is because of the wonderful care I received from Dr. Ilker and his team. Travelling from Australia to Istanbul for surgery was a big decision, but looking back, I am so happy that I did it.
