Day 2: Pre-Procedure Consultation
Attend your scheduled consultation at the clinic. This is crucial for final assessments and discussing any specific concerns or medical history with your dental specialist.
The dentist may perform a diagnostic evaluation, including X-rays or other imaging techniques, to assess the condition of the tooth to be extracted.
Discuss the extraction procedure in detail, including the type of anesthesia that will be used. Options may include local anesthesia or sedation, depending on the complexity of the extraction.
Ensure all financial arrangements are clear. Payments are typically expected before or on the first appointment date. Confirm the payment method, whether it be credit card, money order, or bank wire.
Ask any last-minute questions and confirm the time for your procedure the next day.
Day 3: Tooth Extraction Procedure
Have a light meal before the procedure if advised by your dentist, especially if local anesthesia will be used.
Arrive at the clinic at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled procedure time to complete any remaining paperwork and settle in.
The procedure will begin with the administration of anesthesia to ensure comfort during the extraction.
The dentist will perform the tooth extraction using specialized dental tools. The duration of the procedure can vary depending on the complexity of the extraction.
Post-procedure, you will receive specific aftercare instructions. Follow these carefully to promote healing and avoid complications.
Arrange transportation back to your accommodation, as you may feel drowsy if sedation was used.
Day 4: Post-Procedure Care
Rest is crucial post-extraction. Avoid physical exertion and follow dietary recommendations, such as eating soft foods and avoiding hot beverages.

The care provided by the surgeon and the entire staff was consistently professional and well organised
If you’re considering a dental implant, here are my honest impressions from the initial healing phase. I had a Straumann implant with a diameter of 4.8 mm fitted, and the whole process went very smoothly. I’m not experiencing any discomfort. The gum tissue around the implant is healing visibly well, and I have no problems chewing as long as I take care to avoid hard foods – which is currently the biggest adjustment. The care provided by the surgeon and the entire staff was consistently professional and well organised.
Great service!
Incredibly friendly staff
