Dr. Tamer Mostafa Manie is an Associate Professor of Surgical Oncology at the National Cancer Institute, Cairo University. He is also a Consultant Breast and Oncoplastic Surgeon at Shefa Al Orman. He performs breast cancer surgery and reconstruction. His work includes CBS, mastectomy, and lumpectomy. He performs sentinel and axillary staging. He offers implant and expander reconstruction and flap options (LD, TDAP, LICAP, AICAP, TRAM, SEAP). He also performs supermicrosurgery for lymphedema. He was Breast Cancer MDT Chairman at Madinet Nasr Oncology Center from 2021 to 2023.
Qualifications: MBBCh (2003), Master’s in Surgical Oncology (2009), Doctorate in Surgical Oncology (2014). International training: Heart of England NHS Trust (2013), European Institute of Oncology, Milan (2013–2014), Nottingham Breast Institute (2023). Dr. Tarek M. Hashem is an Associate Professor of Surgical Oncology at the National Cancer Institute, Cairo University (since 2020). He is also a Consultant in Breast and Oncoplastic Surgery at Shefa Al Orman Comprehensive Cancer Center in Luxor (2018–present).
Focus: breast cancer management and oncoplastic surgery. Procedures include breast-conserving surgery, mastectomy, and lumpectomy. Axillary staging includes sentinel lymph node biopsy and axillary dissection. He performs reduction mammoplasty and mastopexy. Reconstruction options include implants, expanders, and flaps (LD, TDAP, LICAP, AICAP, TRAM, SEAP), as well as nipple reconstruction and lipofilling. He also performs supermicrosurgery for lymphedema.
