How Much Does AccuTite facelift Cost in Republic of Korea?

AccuTite facelift in the Republic of Korea typically costs from $2,200 to $2,200. Final pricing depends on the number of treatment zones, clinic tier, and chosen sedation method. In the US, similar procedures cost around $5,300 on average, while South Korea offers savings of around 30%. Most quotes in Seoul include the procedure, local anesthesia, and initial post-operative consultations.

  • Single treatment area: Typically covers focused tightening for the jawline, double chin, or nasolabial folds.
  • Multi-zone packages: Combining several facial areas often reduces the per-zone price for a harmonious look.
  • Combination protocols: Pairing AccuTite with Morpheus8 or liposuction adds approximately 25-40% to the base cost.
  • Regional hub pricing: Clinics in Seoul's Gangnam district often charge 15-20% more than clinics in secondary cities.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing a clinic like VG Plastic Surgery or Onlif Plastic Surgery Korea offers high-value expertise. These centers are KOIHA accredited and frequently serve international patients from over 47 countries. For the best value, look for "Key Opinion Leaders" like the specialists at Onlif. They often provide advanced radiofrequency protocols at prices starting around $2,200 for targeted facial contouring.

The experience for me, in general, was excellent, I would go back to the Dr
I was very pleased with the attention I received from the first day I arrived at the clinic. The interpreter was able to communicate perfectly to the surgeon what I wanted to be done and what my expectations were. I loved the hospitality of the Medical Team, all very attentive, very concerned about whether I was feeling well or not, reminding me of my check-ups, cleaning, suture removal, giving me all the information for the post-operative period, giving me light and oxygen therapy sessions to improve and accelerate the results of my recovery. The clinic is located in a very central place in Gangnam, it is easy to get there. It is very close to the flat that the clinic provides during your stay until the first check-up. The clinic is spacious, well-lit, very clean, with flexible opening hours for post-operative care. The real estate is very comfortable, they have coffee and tea so that you can help yourself. And, they don't keep you waiting. Everything works as scheduled. And, additionally, they provided me with help on how to get around the city, how to get to the tourist attractions, to the shops where they sell skin care products, etc. The experience for me, in general, was excellent, I would go back to the Dr. and I recommend him 100% to those people who are looking for a good clinic where they can have surgery with the full confidence that everything will go very well.
I loved that the Dr. was very patient in understanding exactly what I wanted, thanks to the interpreter I was able to make the Dr. understand everything perfectly. I also liked very much the attention of the medical team that continued to see me the days after the surgery and the warmth and kindness of each one of them. As well as giving me all the instructions I had to follow, they gave me the creams I had to use so that the swelling and bruising would disappear more quickly.
I have nothing to complain about the Clinic, the Dr., the medical team, the interpreter and the care I received before, during and after my surgery. I just think that I should have stayed longer in South Korea to get to see more beautiful places.
About Bookimed service
Bookimed made it easy for me to have a person who speaks my language to assist me whenever I had questions about the different alternatives of plastic surgery clinics that I could ask to evaluate me and give me a quote. When I had already decided on the clinic I wanted to go to, the person who assisted me very kindly answered all the questions I had after I had made my choice. She sent me all the information I asked for about the clinic, the background of the Dr. who was going to operate on me, health permits, health registration of the Dr., validity of his professional title, etc. Everything I needed to make sure I made a very informed decision and knew everything about the clinic, the Dr, the place where I would be operated on, where the clinic was located, where I would be staying from the day of the surgery until a week later and, obviously, how much I was going to be charged. There was only one difference with respect to the initial budget, but it was because once I was in the clinic I added a part of my face that had not been contemplated before. But even so, the final price did not increase too much compared to what I was charged at other clinics in South Korea.

Bookimed were instrumental in my selecting RETURNING plastic Surgery for my procedures
Bookimed were instrumental in my selecting RETURNING plastic Surgery for my procedures. Communication was excellent throughout. I really appreciate Queens attention and assistance. Thank you
Dr Kim was very personable and showed great expertise individualizing a surgical plan to my needs. He did not suggest procedures that weren’t completely appropriate for my case and did an excellent job overall. It has only been 2 weeks, so too early to speak on outcomes, but I am confident the surgical plan will lead to my desired appearance. Dr Kim spoke some English, but the English translator was very good.
Long way to travel for surgery, but the lower cost was a good reason to do so.

Most of all, I just wanted to say that I recommend VG because of the wonderful consideration, kindness, and support that I received there
I would like to share my experience with BookiMed and their recommmendation, VG (Very Good) Plastic Surgery. Doctor: Dr. Im Young Min Procedures: Deep plane facelift, mid-face lift with fat graft, sub-brow lift, lower blepharoplasty Referral: I had been wanting to get this surgery for quite a long time, but didn't know which clinic would be best, so I applied to Bookimed who gave me several quotes/recommendations based on my needs. I liked the procedures suggested by VG Plastic Surgery the best and I saw that they had good reviews online, so I set up a consultation. Consultation: At the consultation, several photos were taken in order to analyze the surgery and what would work best for me. The doctor suggested a sub-brow lift for my sagging eyelid skin, a deep plane facelift and a midface lift to address the loss of volume and sagging along with a fat graft to restore the volume to my cheeks, and a lower blepharoplasty to address the hollowness under my eyes along with the malar edema. I worked with Smile, one of the consultants who was very helpful and went over everything with me including all of the options and prices. She was very professional but warm, which is one reason that I decided to go with VG over other clinics. Pre-Surgery Check-up: A few days before my surgery, I went in for a checkup where they did a chest x-ray and a blood test to make sure my body was healthy enough for the surgery. I met with Dr. Im, my surgeon, to go over the plan for the surgery and make sure everything was in place. I met another consultant, Lily, who interpreted everything for me and made sure that everything was clear and comfortable for me. Surgery: The day of surgery, I did an interview about the procedure and how I was feeling prior to the surgery as well as taking several "before" photos to use as comparison. I had also fasted for 8 hours (food and water). The surgery was very smooth, but I believe it lasted a long time- between 6-8 hours as there were many procedures being done. I had to have a breathing tube, which was quite uncomfortable for the first 12 hours after surgery, but I was glad that the doctors took every precaution. They also put in drains in my neck and inside my mouth to keep blood and fluid from pooling under my skin as well as a catheter. Post-Surgery: After surgery, I was taken to a private room for recovery. I stayed in the room for about 24 hours and the nurses took very good care of me, coming in to replace the ice packs for my face, check on my catheter and incisions and just making sure I was comfortable. I was eventually able to have water, then some soy milk, and finally some porridge when I was ready. Lily and Smile checked on me several times to be sure everything was alright and to translate for me. The next day before leaving the hospital, the bandages were removed and Dr. Im came in and checked on me to make sure that everything had gone well. Lily, Smile and another consultant, Jenny, were there to interpret and to make sure I was alright. They removed the catheter and cleaned the incisions, replacing them with clean bandages. I also did an oxygen treatment in a hyperbaric chamber, which was very relaxing. I took a taxi home with Smile's support. Scary Moment: One thing that happened that was a bit scary for me was that I wasn't prepared for how much my eyes would swell up after the surgery. I felt like my bandages were bursting (and the nurse helped me to relieve some of the pressure) and when I looked at myself the day after the surgery, I wasn't prepared for what I saw. The veins in my eyes burst, making them completely red and my eyes swelled up so much I could barely see. This was scary for me as I had not seen this in any of the videos I had watched prior when doing my research. The staff assured me it was normal and that it would go back down, but I guess I'd say that for the first 2-3 days after the surgery, I was pretty worried that something was wrong. The ointment I was applying to keep the incisions clean also coated my eyes from time to time blurring my vision, which was scary, but the consultant assured me this was only because of the medication. I went back to the clinic after 3 days for a check-up and to have my incisions cleaned and the blood drains emptied. Each time I visited the clinic, I was given an oxygen treatment and several photos were taken for documentation. After the swelling in my eyes went down, my recovery progressed quickly. I had more visits (at 7 days, 10 days, 14 days and then 3 weeks) to remove stitches and drains and to monitor my progress. At 7 days, I was given a complimentary hair wash as well, which was very relaxing and such a relief. I also wore a head brace/wrap to keep my face from moving around too much for about a month. I did take it off to sleep at times because it felt tight, but I tried to keep it on during the day for the most part. Conclusion: I am now 5 months post-op, and I am very happy with my results. I feel that my concerns were addressed, and that I look younger and fresher, but still like myself, which was always the goal of this surgery for me. I feel a renewed vigor and like I look like the person I have always been, if that makes sense. I still have some puffiness under my eyes at times, especially when I have built up fluid retention or am very tired, and I am still working to find the cause/solution for this. I believe it is related to lymphatic drainage, so I understand that the surgery could not fully correct this issue, although I do feel like it is better than before. Most of all, I just wanted to say that I recommend VG because of the wonderful consideration, kindness, and support that I received there. From the way that the consultants went out of their way to help and support me, not just through translation, but by encouraging me and helping me, to the care the nurses gave me, to the skill that Dr. Im and his staff in the operating room showed, I am very happy. The scars from my incisions are unnoticeable and will most likely become completely invisible with time, and I feel that my surgery goals were reached. A big thanks to VG Surgery and their staff. I would also like to thank Bookimed for helping me to find this clinic and giving me the information I needed to make my decision.
The customer service and attention from the staff at VG was the best part of my experience. They were all very caring and attentive.
I would have liked to have more post-op consultation with the surgeon and to have been able to ask him more about my questions/concerns.
About Bookimed service
Bookimed was very prompt and responsive, giving me several choices and listening to my concerns and feelings about everything. They recommended several clinics and this gave me a lot of options to consider before making my decision. It's difficult to trust online reviews, so I really appreciated having another level of research before making a choice.

He did a good job on my surgery and I recommend him for anyone seeking plastic surgery in Korea
The beginning of surgery was tough, doing the upper and lower Blepharplasty with shots and some pain reliever in my IV and I needed something a little stronger but I understand how careful the Dr was because I was under full anesthesia the minute the eye surgeries were done. The results are looking amazing and the swelling decreased daily. I’m not sure what oral pain meds I was on after surgery but it was perfect for me because I don’t like to be on very many pain meds and when the meds ended it was the time I usually stop taking any pain meds. I’m pleased with the results I’m seeing so far and it’s only 3 weeks post-op. Lilith and the the girls were amazing, Lilith helped be to the hotel nearby after my 2 day stay at the surgical hospital and she helped me with exchanging my money to pay my hotel bill because my Credit Union was blocking my use of my credit card. I recommend anyone from outside of Korea to make sure they have an account with a larger bank before getting surgery in another country. I can’t say how much I needed and got reassurance from the staff with removal of my stitches and just how conscientious the staff was that I would be as comfortable as possible. Dr Kim Yong Woo always asked if I had any questions and spend the time before and after surgery to make sure all my questions were answered. He did a good job on my surgery and I recommend him for anyone seeking plastic surgery in Korea.
I liked the Bariatric chamber to lie in, It’s a little strange feeling but I could feel it affecting my swelling and it helped the edema and bruising to decrease quickly. Also the staff was so wonderful to help me through uncomfortable procedures of removing of my stitches. I was a little skeptical about being moved right after surgery because I usually have vomited without an oral motion sickness pill but I don’t every remember being moved back to my bed in the hospital and had no nausea so I like the anti-motion sickness med that is given intravenously during surgery.
I don’t have an answer but I needed a stronger pain medication or more pain shots with the Blepharoplasty’s but I’m not sure what the answer is.
About Bookimed service
I talked more about the surgery than using Bookimed but I had a hard time at first using a third party to place a down payment on my surgery but when I looked online how that is the normal procedure for surgical procedures in another country I was assured and unfortunately my bank was making it hard for me because you need a larger bank than a credit union to help get legit payments through so I appreciate the staff at Bookimed being so patient with me because it took almost one week to get the down payment through.

FAQ about AccuTite facelift in Republic of Korea

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

How long is the recovery period?

Recovery after AccuTite in the Republic of Korea typically allows patients to return to social activities within 7 to 14 days. This minimally invasive radiofrequency procedure requires only local anesthesia, with most acute swelling and bruising resolving significantly by the end of the first week.

  • Initial downtime: Most patients return to work within 7 to 10 days.
  • Social appearance: Bruising is usually manageable with makeup after 5 to 7 days.
  • Results timeline: Expect 80% of results by 3 months as collagen remodeling occurs.
  • Final outcome: Complete tissue tightening and final contours transition fully by 6 months.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Many specialized centers in Seoul, such as VG Plastic Surgery or Onlif Plastic Surgery Korea, integrate aggressive lymphatic drainage massages into their post-operative care. Our data suggests these localized Korean techniques can reduce the visible swelling timeline by 3 to 5 days compared to standard Western recovery protocols.

Patient Consensus: While pain is usually mild, patients often report a sensation of tightness and internal numbness that can persist for several weeks. Those traveling to Korea should plan for a 10 to 14-day stay to accommodate initial swelling management and essential follow-up visits.

What is the recovery time?

Most patients return to work within 5 to 7 days after an AccuTite facelift in South Korea. While visible swelling and bruising typically resolve within 72 hours, full results continue to emerge over 3 to 6 months as collagen production increases. This minimally invasive procedure allows for significantly faster recovery than traditional surgery.

  • Initial downtime: Most patients resume normal daily activities within 48 to 72 hours.
  • Work readiness: Returning to professional duties is typically possible after 5 to 7 days.
  • Tissue tightening: Minor jaw tightness may persist for up to 2 weeks during healing.
  • Full results: Final facial contouring outcomes generally become visible after 3 to 6 months.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Leading Seoul clinics like VG Plastic Surgery often combine AccuTite with advanced safety systems to minimize tissue trauma. Data shows these KOIHA-accredited centers achieve superior outcomes with less bruising than Western providers. To optimize healing, many Korean specialists recommend gentle facial massages starting on day 3.

Patient Consensus: Many note that consistent icing during the first 48 hours is vital for managing swelling. Patients frequently emphasize avoiding saunas and alcohol for one week to ensure the best possible results.

When will I see the final results?

Final results for AccuTite facelift in the Republic of Korea typically appear between 3 to 6 months as collagen remodeling progresses. While visible tightening usually begins by week 4, the most significant skin contraction and texture improvements stabilize after the initial swelling fully subsides.

  • Initial recovery: Maximum swelling occurs during week 1, with noticeable reduction by day 14.
  • Visible tightening: Most patients report seeing early lifting and contouring benefits by weeks 3–4.
  • Collagen production: Peak remodeling and skin radiance improvements occur between months 2 and 4.
  • Final assessment: Korean specialists, like those at VG Plastic Surgery, usually schedule follow-ups at month 3.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While AccuTite is marketed as a lunchtime lift, our data from 76 Korean clinics shows surgeons often recommend combining it with Liftera technology or thread-lift techniques. This hybrid approach helps bridge the gap between initial recovery and the 6-month final mark, providing immediate structural support while the AccuTite-induced collagen matures.

Patient Consensus: Patients emphasize not judging the outcome during the first 2 weeks when swelling is most prominent. They frequently note that skin quality and `glow` improve gradually alongside the lifting effect through the third month.

Is the procedure painful?

AccuTite facelift procedures in the Republic of Korea are generally not painful because surgeons use local anesthesia or sedation to numb the target areas. Patients typically report feeling only mild pressure or tugging sensations during the minimally invasive treatment. Modern Korean clinics utilize advanced safety systems to ensure patient comfort.

  • Anesthesia usage: Surgeons apply local anesthesia or light sedation to eliminate pain during the procedure.
  • Intra-operative sensation: Most patients describe feeling only minor pressure, heat, or deep tugging sensations.
  • Post-operative discomfort: Mild soreness and swelling peak within 48 hours, similar to a strenuous workout.
  • Pain management: Over-the-counter relievers like Tylenol and ice packs effectively manage any lingering tenderness.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data from 76 Korean clinics shows a preference for AccuTite due to its 24-hour recovery profile. Specialists like Dr. Yeom Jihye at Forena Clinic have performed over 14,000 aesthetic procedures, contributing to high success rates. This high volume often results in more refined numbing techniques compared to lower-volume centers.

Patient Consensus: Most individuals find the process more comfortable than non-invasive treatments like Ultherapy. They frequently report returning to work the next day with only minor tightness or bruising.

Is the procedure painful?

AccuTite facelift in South Korea is a minimally invasive procedure performed under local anesthesia to ensure patient comfort. While the treatment is generally not painful, patients typically describe sensations of pressure or tugging during the 45-minute session rather than sharp or distressing pain.

  • Anesthesia type: Surgeons use local anesthesia to numb the targeted facial or neck areas.
  • Intraoperative sensation: Patients often liken the feeling to a strong pinch or localized pressure.
  • Recovery intensity: Post-procedure pain is mild, typically rated 2 to 4 on a 10-point scale.
  • Pain management: Discomfort usually peaks within 72 hours and resolves with over-the-counter relievers.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data from 76 Korean clinics shows a preference for localized radiofrequency over traditional surgery for faster recovery. While traditional facelifts require significant healing, AccuTite patients at facilities like VG Plastic Surgery often report that `phantom itching` during the 3–5 day downtime is more noticeable than actual surgical pain. This indicates that nerves are healing correctly rather than being damaged.

Patient Consensus: Most patients describe the healing phase as a period of intense tightness rather than true pain. They recommend keeping ice packs and ibuprofen ready to manage the swelling that occurs in the first week.

How does AccuTite compare with traditional facelift surgery?

AccuTite is a minimally invasive radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) procedure targeting small facial areas, whereas traditional facelift surgery physically repositions deep muscle layers. While AccuTite offers 30% to 60% of surgical results with minimal downtime, a traditional facelift provides dramatic, long-term rejuvenation for advanced skin laxity.

  • Invasiveness: AccuTite uses a tiny probe under local anesthesia without large surgical incisions.
  • Recovery time: Patients typically return to normal activities within 1 to 3 days.
  • Primary goal: Precision tightening of nasolabial folds, under-eye bags, and the jawline area.
  • Longevity: Results generally last 1 to 5 years compared to 10+ years for surgery.

Bookimed Expert Insight: In Seoul, top clinics like Onlif Plastic Surgery often bridge the results gap by combining AccuTite with thread lifts or exosome therapy. This hybrid approach is a strategic trend in Korea for patients under 45. It provides a more lifted appearance than RFAL alone without the 4-week recovery of a full surgical facelift.

Patient Consensus: Patients emphasize that AccuTite is a maintenance tool rather than a surgery replacement. Most report that manageable peeling and mild bruising are common during the very short recovery period.

Who is the ideal candidate?

The ideal candidate for an AccuTite facelift in the Republic of Korea is typically aged 35 to 50 with mild to moderate skin laxity. This minimally-invasive radiofrequency treatment suits those seeking targeted tightening of the jowls, neck, or lower face without undergoing traditional surgical excision.

  • Skin condition: Candidates must have good natural elasticity and manageable sagging.
  • Submental fat: Ideal for patients with small pockets of fat under the chin.
  • Medical status: Non-smokers achieve superior results as smoking accelerates the radiofrequency effect fade.
  • Expectations: Best for those seeking subtle refinement rather than dramatic surgical pulling.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Korean clinics like VG Plastic Surgery often combine AccuTite with Ultherapy to maximize results on thinner skin types. Our data shows top Seoul surgeons often perform over 1,000 cases annually. This high volume is crucial because precise sub-dermal heating requires significant technical expertise to ensure symmetry.

Patient Consensus: Patients emphasize the importance of the pinch test to verify skin thickness before booking. Most travelers recommend staying in Seoul for 5 days as swelling typically peaks on day 3.

How does AccuTite compare to a traditional facelift?

AccuTite is a minimally invasive radiofrequency procedure designed for precise skin tightening in small facial areas, while a traditional facelift is a major surgery for comprehensive tissue repositioning. AccuTite requires only local anesthesia and offers a 1-3 day recovery compared to weeks of downtime for surgical lifting.

  • Invasiveness: AccuTite uses tiny probes; traditional facelifts require significant incisions around the ears.
  • Primary results: AccuTite delivers 60% skin improvement; surgery provides dramatic, structural facial foundation lifting.
  • Anesthesia type: Radiofrequency treatments use local anesthesia; surgical facelifts require general anesthesia or sedation.
  • Typical longevity: AccuTite results last up to 5 years; surgical facelifts often exceed 10 years.

Bookimed Expert Insight: South Korean clinics like VG Plastic Surgery and Onlif Plastic Surgery often use AccuTite as a preventive maintenance tool. Data shows many patients in their 40s choose this over surgery to delay a full facelift by several years. While a facelift in Korea starts at $7,200, AccuTite begins at $2,200, making it a cost-effective alternative for mild laxity.

Patient Consensus: Patients value the 1-3 day recovery but note that swelling can peak during the second week. It is highly recommended for early aging signs rather than a total jawline overhaul.

What should I expect on the day of treatment?

On the day of an AccuTite facelift in South Korea, expect a 45-90 minute minimally invasive procedure performed under local anesthesia. You will remain awake and mobile, typically discharging from the clinic the same day. Most Seoul-based facilities provide immediate post-operative care within KOIHA-accredited safety environments.

  • Arrival prep: Arrive 30-60 minutes early for medical photography, consent forms, and numbing.
  • Anesthesia type: Surgeons use local anesthesia or light sedation for a painless physical experience.
  • Real-time monitoring: Specialists like those at BIOFACE Clinic often use ultrasound guidance during treatment.
  • Immediate aftercare: Clinics provide essential recovery items including ice packs and medical compression garments.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While the procedure is fast, the efficiency of Korean clinics like VG Plastic Surgery means schedules are tight. Patients should anticipate a high-tech environment where surgeons often perform multiple specialized facial contouring procedures daily, maintaining high precision through significant volume. Choosing a clinic with board-certified dermatologists ensures advanced handling of the radiofrequency devices.

Patient Consensus: Patients report being surprised by the peak swelling at 48-72 hours and recommend booking at least 3-5 buffer days before flying. The experience is described as comfortable enough to chat with staff, though the resulting numbness can linger for 2 weeks.
