I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth and easy the process was from start to finish
Bookimed was extremely helpful, making the whole process seamless. I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth and easy the process was from start to finish. I felt well supported and all of my questions and concerns were always answered in a timely manner. The staff at ID Clinic were approachable and friendly, they attended to my needs and requests immediately during my overnight stay and the days following my surgery. The only thing I am not satisfied with, is the lack of depth of my in person consult prior to surgery, as my breast asymmetry was not properly addressed or discussed. Now, I will likely have to explore alternate procedures at a high cost to correct my breast asymmetry once I am fully healed, which I am frustrated with as I feel this should have been taken into consideration and corrected during my initial breast augmentation surgery. However, I would still recommend Bookimend and the ID Clinic as my overall experience was good.

Not a lot of pain expect for the armpits really
Everything went smoothly. We were guided where to go to meet our driver. We found him right away. We were informed of what I needed to do before and after surgery. Surgery day went well. Surgery was about 2 hours long and recovery had been pretty easy. Not a lot of pain expect for the armpits really.
Having a translator there. Also my questions being answer fairly well.
The information I received landing in Turkey instead of 2-3 weeks before surgery date. Like the no makeup, false lashes and nail polish information needs to be given 2-3 weeks before surgery not the day before.

Very happy with the augmentation result.
The communication and language was hard at times. I also didn't realise the surgery happened at the clinic and I wasn't super clear on the after-care plan.

Waking up, I felt groggy but managed. The clinic staff were competent, and the surgeon was clear in our consultations. The incision was placed under the breast, which is what I wanted. I am still in the early recovery phase, and it has its challenges. My pain has lessened to a mild discomfort, but sleeping through the night is difficult, and my nipples are uncomfortably hypersensitive. Overall, the medical care was solid, though the recovery process itself is demanding. It’s a serious undertaking.

I travelled from the UK to have a breast lift with implants ( 450 cc motiva implants under the muscle ), and from the very beginning, Dr Yaman made me feel comfortable, reassured, and confident that I was in safe hands.
I am so happy with my results so far and I am truly grateful for his skill, attention to detail, and the beautiful work he has done. Not only is Dr Yaman an incredibly talented surgeon, but he is also a genuinely kind and caring person who made me feel looked after while I was away from home.

Recovery and scarring were my main concerns going in, and my surgeon handled that really well — he was upfront about how long healing would take and took time to explain and mark where the scars would sit before we even started. The whole body lift happened in one surgery, so it's still too soon to know how the final results will look. The clinic experience itself was a bit mixed — support after the surgery wasn't great, and I barely heard from anyone after I was discharged. On the bright side, there were no hidden or extra costs. My advice to anyone considering this: ask the practical questions upfront — whether the clinic provides meals or you'll need to order food yourself, and whether your surgery and recovery stay happen at the same facility or you'll be moved between a clinic and a hospital.
The doctors work was excellent
The clinic wasn't great for overnight stays and although some of the nursing staff were good at their tasks, it could take a long time for a need to be seen to though.
I think the team there need to communicate better within themselves as to a client's needs that may need to be met by a specific team member, ie: if you inform reception that you require assistance that can only be given by a nursing attendant, you could wait for hours for that to be communicated and carried out.

What worried me most was the pain after the operation and how the recovery would go. But I needn’t have worried. Now I only feel a slight discomfort, which is perfectly bearable. The doctor did everything very carefully, placing the implants under the muscle via an incision beneath the breast, and I’m already happy with the result. Sensitivity is back to normal. I’m sleeping better too. I’m very grateful to the whole team for their support and professionalism. My best advice to other women planning this operation is: the main thing is not to be afraid and to trust the doctor – he’s a pro.

There is some discomfort after the operation, but the pain is mild and quite bearable. I had implants placed under the muscle via an incision beneath the breast, and I’m gradually getting used to the new sensations, including a slight numbness around the nipples, which is perfectly normal at this stage. I can already see the results. Sleeping is getting better every day, which is very pleasing. My main advice to other girls who are just planning to have the operation is: don’t be afraid, because beauty requires sacrifice.

We were brought straight to the hospital after arriving. Good transfer! Olga, our interpreter, met us at the hospital.
She was not only an interpreter but also a counsellor on many issues in Istanbul, as it was the first time we had been here. In the evening we took a blood test and in the morning I was operated. I came out of the anaesthesia easily, already in a new image. The doctor was very attentive, both before the operation, during the examination, and after. Service staff, very nice nurses, even though I did not understand them, but smiled doing their job and did not embarrass me. In the hospital I was with my husband only two nights, I felt good and we moved to the hotel (room large, clean with breakfast included!). We went to the dressing. There was always a transfer!
Additionally I want to add about Istanbul - it is very interesting and mysterious city fairy tale!

The doctor helped with the choice of size and shape of implants, told me in detail about the operation, consequences, recovery process, gave clear recommendations. The surgery was easy, the medical staff was always in touch, they helped, cared. Dr Elena is always in touch, controls the recovery process, gives recommendations. The main thing I worried about was the recovery, and it is definitely a process. At 15 days post-op, sleeping on my back is hard, and the pain is still moderate, though it's manageable. It's not easy. I’m glad that my nipple sensitivity feels normal, which was a specific concern since my surgeon used an incision around the nipple. The surgeon and staff were very capable and provided solid care from start to finish. My best advice for anyone else is what got me through the tougher moments: have patience and trust the procedure.

If I had to give advice to a friend, I’d tell her that recovery is no walk in the park. Fifteen days after the operation, my pain is moderate and manageable, but sleeping is still difficult and my nipples are hypersensitive. What’s more, the range of motion in my arms is severely restricted. The decision to go for the dual-plane technique with the incision under the breast feels right. The surgeon and the clinic were good. I was less satisfied with the staff and the organisation. There’s room for improvement there. Although I mentioned information or queries on several occasions, they were either ignored or people talked around the issue. Communication with the nurses was difficult at times due to their limited English. My best tip for recovery: having someone to accompany you is very important, as you are very dependent on others in all sorts of everyday situations. A water bottle with a straw and tops that open at the front are practical and make the first few weeks easier.

The organisation has been a bit of a mess. On the day of my departure, my medical coordinator wrote to say I needed lab results for my thyroid levels, but it was impossible for me to get them from my doctor at such short notice. The clinic had already been aware of my thyroid condition for months.
Furthermore, our transfer was at the wrong airport in Istanbul, even though I had sent the exact flight details and explicitly named the airport.

The clinic was disappointing. Instead of the promised surgery start time of 12-13 hours, we found a free operating theatre only at 19:30.
The situation was saved by the doctor himself, who was in the clinic all the time and was also waiting for the operating theatre to be given to us. He calmed me down and supported me.
