How Much Does Consultation with a dentist Cost in Thailand?

A consultation with a dentist in Thailand typically costs from $15 / ฿510 to $100 / ฿3,400. Prices depend on the clinic tier, its location, and the expertise of the specialist. In the US, similar dental consultations cost about $100 / ฿3,400 on average. Thailand offers savings of about 85% compared to US rates.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing a multispecialty center like Bumrungrad International Hospital offers unique value for complex cases. This hospital treats over 1,000,000 patients annually and uses AI for diagnostic precision. Some clinics, such as Bangkok International Dental Center, are official partners of Swiss manufacturers like Straumann. This ensures access to world-class materials at local Thai rates. What would I say to a friend who’s hesitating? Just go for it
What would I say to a friend who’s hesitating? Just go for it. My biggest fear was not understanding the treatment plan or feeling rushed, but that wasn’t the case at all. The dentist was very patient and took the time to explain each step to me in detail. It was reassuring. The overall organisation ran smoothly and the whole clinic team were professional and happy to answer my questions. Coordination via Bookimed simplified the whole process, which helped reduce the stress of having a medical appointment abroad. I left with clear information and a good overall impression.
Proof of payment!
The language barrier. It’s difficult to fully understand and explain our needs in detail
