What is a dental bridge?
A dental bridge is a fixed prosthesis that is attached to healthy teeth on either side of the missing teeth. Bridges are often made of metal, ceramic, cermet, or zirconia.
How are dental bridges installed?
To place a bridge, the patient needs to come to the clinic 2 times. The installation of dental bridges takes place in 5 stages:
Stage 1. The doctor carefully examines the patient's oral cavity. After the examination, he appoints a panoramic x-ray of the upper and lower jaw for a detailed study of the anatomical location.

Stage 4. If you wish, the doctor can install a temporary dental bridge while the permanent one is being made.
Stage 5 The dentist removes the temporary bridge and fixes the permanent one with dental cement. Procedures are performed under local anesthesia.
How many teeth can be restored with a bridge?
The length of the bridge prosthesis can be from 3 to 14 crowns. In most cases, doctors install a dental bridge on 3, 4 and 5 teeth.

How to care for a dental bridge?
