How Much Does Removal of the foreign body in the root canals using a microscope Cost in Istanbul?

Removal of the foreign body in the root canals using a microscope in Istanbul typically costs from $300 to $600. The final price depends on case complexity, instrument location, and the number of canals requiring intervention. Patients save around 79% compared to the US, where the average price is $2,400. Standard costs usually cover specialist fees, local anesthesia, and diagnostic imaging.

  • Technique complexity: Cases involving fractured instruments deep in the canal add 20-30% to the base fee.
  • Tooth type: Molar treatments often cost more than front teeth due to canal accessibility and number.
  • Endodontic specialists: Associated professors or PhD-level specialists often charge higher fees than general dental practitioners.
  • Clinic accreditation: JCI-accredited facilities focus on high-volume specialized care and may offer different pricing tiers.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Istanbul specialized clinics offer significant value for complex endodontics by centralizing university-affiliated experts and microscopic technology. İstinye Dental Hospital, affiliated with İstinye University and the MLP Care group, provides JCI-accredited care with 30 specialized doctors. Specialists like Dr. Burcin Arican Alpay integrate advanced microbiology and AI into endodontic care, ensuring high precision for difficult removals compared to general clinics.

The doctor matched the color perfectly to my preferences
I remember discussing the shade for my new smile, and what really stood out was how the doctor matched the color perfectly to my preferences. I opted for a full mouth restoration with E-max pressed ceramic veneers, and the outcome feels right. Everyone was supportive. Now in the early stages of healing, everything is progressing about as expected, which is a relief. It’s also very reassuring that the clinic has stayed in touch to check on my progress since I've been home. The care was consistent.

I had terrible experience at Inter Dental Turkey. I had one broken tooth that was okay; I just didn't want it to break further in the future. They suggested putting a crown on not only the broken tooth but also on a perfectly healthy one. The doctor name was Dilhun Yukse. She didn't explain things during the treatment. All the staff didn't speak English, so it was hard to understand what they were doing. And without asking, she drilled into two other teeth, because she couldn't fit the crown. After the crown was put in, I felt a lot of pain. I can't chew on that side, and my teeth are super sensitive now. I have to take painkillers every day. When I went to two other clinics, they both said the crown was terrible and that my teeth were damaged because of it. The damage they did to my teeth make me regret going there. I strongly recommend avoiding this clinic!

FAQ about treatment in Turkey

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

Why is Istanbul a popular destination for microscopic foreign body removal?

Istanbul is a leading global hub for microscopic foreign body removal because it has so many JCI-accredited facilities and specialized endodontists. Dentists use high-magnification dental microscopes for precise interventions. This lets them extract fractured instruments or debris while preserving the natural tooth.

  • Cost efficiency: Procedures cost $300 to $600, saving about 79% versus US averages.
  • Specialized expertise: Surgeons like Dr. Ceren Cetinbay at Esthetic Smile Academy focus specifically on endodontic microsurgery.
  • Advanced infrastructure: Facilities like MosDent Dental Hospital offer 24/7 care with over 25 years of experience.
  • Comprehensive care: Clinics often bundle VIP transfers and translation services into the overall treatment price.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While Istanbul is a popular choice for cosmetic work, the city's true strength lies in university-affiliated hospitals like İstinye Dental Hospital. These centers often handle the most complex microscopic cases that general clinics avoid. For foreign body removal, patients should focus on clinics with dedicated endodontic departments rather than those focused mainly on aesthetic veneers.

Patient Consensus: Patients emphasize choosing specialist endodontists over high-volume cosmetic clinics for complex root canal work. They cite reliable follow-up care and realistic treatment planning as the most critical factors for a successful outcome.
