He gave me excellent advice, then examined my jawbone using an X-ray, and after a further 45 minutes, the two implants were professionally and perfectly in place! I’d advise future patients to ask straight away how many days the treatment will take, and to make sure they allow an extra two days for flights.

If you’re planning to have crowns fitted at this clinic, the first thing I’d mention is the cost. The dentist was a great help; he carefully showed me all the colour options for my monolithic zirconia crowns and helped me make my choice. The staff were also very good. After the procedure, I was given clear aftercare instructions, and I’m generally feeling just as I expected. Everything went smoothly. However, there were additional costs not included in the initial quote. So my main piece of advice is: take more money with you, because it actually ends up costing more than you expect.

During that time, he removed a number of decayed teeth with great professionalism and fitted 10 Nobel Biocare implants. I recently returned from my second trip to WestDent Clinic in Izmir, Turkey. In September 2025 I had full mouth extractions, 12 Zirconia implants placed (6 upper jaw, 6 lower jaw), gums stitched over the implants to help Osseointegration of the implants. I returned in January 2026 for the final stage treatment and the installation of 24 Zirconium crowns. This involved the implants being revealed. The healing caps of the implants being removed and temporary abutments fitted so impressions could be taken of my gums, upper and lower jaws. This is so the implants will fit perfectly when my new teeth had been designed with the aid of C.A.D. The abutments were then removed and healing caps replaced onto the implants. Next day my permanent abutments were installed and I was given some temporary teeth which placed onto my abutments, and could be removed. They were made of a foul tasting material called PMMA. But it gave a good idea of the final results, even though they were a greyish colour. The final day my permanent teeth were checked rigourously for bite adjustment, gaps, spacing, alignment etc, before being placed permanently. My second visit was a five day stay, and involved visiting the Clinic each day, and a couple of longer days towards the end. But I am extremely pleased with the final results and have had so many great reactions and comments about my new teeth, especially how natural and real they look.
