Hi this is Mark from Australia. Continuing on my weightloss journey since August 2004 when i weighed in at 168kg/370lb. I had gastric stapling. Fast foward to November 2022, I was ready to remove excess skin and tissue. I used bookimed as a resource and guide to find a suitable and respected surgeon to fulfill my requirements. The coordinator Viktoriia was extremely helpful, understanding and knowledgable and can not thank her enough for the chosen clinic. The Surgeon Dr Taha Sonmez and hos team exceeded my expectations from arrival, airport transfer, through to hotel transfers to the clinic and hospital. Medical team was understanding, respectful and courteous. The treatment was on my stomach, back and flanks, and performed 360° Vaser Liposuction and 270° Abdominoplasty. Again exceeded my expectation to date. 2 nights in hospital, returned day 5 for drain tubes removal, and off I go on day 7. Their support with my trip was greatful, as this trip was made solo, with no supporting person/s with me. Life is a journey, and my journey can continue with this result I have had, using bookimed and Kariso Clinic. I am already in discussion for my next step of my journey - inner upper thighs and under arms. Every client is different, as "every body" is different. My experience has been life changing and look forward to seeing the final results 3 months, to then discuss my next visit without hesitation, funds permitting

I had a boob job and I'm happy with the result. The only thing is the medical staff who really don't care about you. I arrived at night after the operation and until my supervisor from home arrived, a special thanks to him for that! None of the nurses moved!!! The surgeon is super, his assistant is also a very nice girl and there was no problem with the interpreter either!

I stayed at the clinic for 6 days, good conditions, separate room, 3 meals a day. The medical staff was always on the phone, they helped in any situation. I was surprised that manipulations with blood (taking analyses, treatment of stitches after surgery) are carried out without disposable gloves, for this a huge minus. Consultations with the doctor were also very fast, he was always in a hurry. I had a lot of questions, but half of them remained unanswered. He does his job, but especially does not explain or tell anything. For me this is also a disadvantage.

Initial consultation: Agent was very friendly and attentive when I first inquired about my surgery. Hospital: The day of my operation, I was given a room without any air conditioning. When I addressed this with the Coordinator and hospital staff, I was supplied a portable aircon unit . The unit was small and did nothing to cool the room I was staying in. The night after my surgery my temperature and blood pressure went up , the surgeon asked me how I was feeling and I once again addressed the lack of air conditioning. I was finally moved to an air conditioned room which made the rest of my hospital stay comfortable. After surgery/recovery: I wasn’t given much information after my surgery and returning to the hotel. I think it would be appropriate to supply an information kit based on your surgery and what to do to help your recovery, including the heeling process and what to look out for should the recovery not be going to plan. A simple FAQ’s sheet would be very beneficial to assist with patient recovery. Follow Ups: The only time I heard from my surgery coordinator was when I was scheduled for an appointment to see the surgeon and have my bandages changed, these appointments I’d be informed of the evening before. I asked twice if I could have a schedule of my appointments and what time (so I could organise other things) but I was never given one. Again a simple recovery/appointment schedule would be beneficial to patients. Hotel: Hotel was excellent, very clean with everything you need for a comfortable recovery. The hotel also hosts other patients so you don’t feel uncomfortable covered in bandages. Summary: I’m currently in week three of my recovery and so far am happy with the results, the surgeon was great. The hospital shouldn’t use rooms without aircon and better communication would make a great difference to the experience. In a foreign country you want to feel welcome and relaxed however allot of times I felt like a number on a production line and not a person.

I recently had surgery at Dr.Med Clinic and Dr. Hakan Teymur and the medical staff were exceptional. The surgery was smooth and successful, thanks to Dr. Hakan Teymur’s expertise. The nursing staff and supportive team provided attentive and compassionate care throughout my recovery. Their post-surgery follow-up was thorough and reassuring, always available to address any concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Hakan Teymur and the team of Dr Med for their outstanding patient care.

My coordinator Marsela, went above and beyond to research the perfect Doctor and accommodate with all of her request for the best Doctor. She always answered my questions and followed up when needed. My surgery coordinators Zeynep and Hisham were amazing and followed up and Hisham was there in person from the pre-op to post op and both were there 24 hours a day when I needed them or just to make sure I was doing good following my surgery. Dr. Emre Ozenalp is a very skilled surgeon and is amazing. The cuts he made I will have little scarring due to being a skilled surgeon. Dr. Emre and his Nurses followed up everyday to check on my status. He’s Nurses are amazing and we’re very compassionate since I am a very modest person. I would highly recommend Bookimed, my surgery coordinators, and Dr. Emre and his Nurses. I am very amazed and super excited about my outcome of my surgery. My amazing husband who was by my side the whole and supported my decision was absolutely amazed and thanked Dr. Emre for the amazing work he did on my tummy tuck. I now have a flat tummy and no stretch’s marks. 💕

On March 20, 2024, I had an operation with Dr. Aykut Goka. I had abdominoplasty with suturing of diastasis, liposuction and breast augmentation. I have long dreamed of having surgery, because... after 3 births, the body did not look ideal. And my dream came true. The operation went well. She tolerated the anesthesia well.
