What's the cost for Nephrology procedures in Turkey?

Nephrology care in Turkey typically costs from $200 to $20,000. Total expenses depend on the complexity of the renal condition, the specific surgical method chosen, and the duration of hospital care required. Patients traveling from the US can expect 70-90% savings compared to domestic prices for similar specialized renal treatments.

Typical Nephrology Costs in Turkey

  • Consultation with a nephrologist: $100 – $100
  • Kidney biopsy: $400 – $500
  • Dialysis: $200 – $400
  • Nephrectomy: $10,000 – $17,000
  • Urethroscopic lithotripsy: $1,500 – $2,500
  • Pyeloplasty: $4,500 – $8,000
  • Ureteroscopy with laser lithotripsy: $2,200 – $3,500
  • Robotic radical nephrectomy: $12,000 – $20,000

Most specialized nephrology centers are located in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir. While Istanbul serves as the primary medical hub, prices for procedures and consultations remain competitive across these major cities. Consult with a specialist to get accurate pricing for your specific renal health needs.

In addition to the translator Maksut who was provided, I did not like ANYTHING! The analyzes that came out in 47 thousand, just a general analysis of urine, blood, ultrasound. I thought it was normal for Turkey to find out that it was a waste of money! Neurologist consultation $ 200, but in fact nothing sensible was said .How a fool provided those analyzes, and the diagnosis that was provided in Russia. The doctor just confirmed it, and did not say anything. No information special. And this is me about the Nephrologist. you already take a taxi at the specified time at the consultation, and you cancel there. And there, for 2 days in a row .70 thousand was thrown into the wind simply! And I am very sorry!

We are grateful to Bookimed for organizing the meeting with the clinic. Great experience, top notch service. Passed all the necessary tests, met with the doctor, corrected the treatment. The clinic itself provided a taxi from the hotel and back, which was very nice. Interpreter Nursulu is wonderful! Thank you very much for this service

The recommended nephrologist is treating it the old fashioned way with prednisolone. He prescribed blood thinners before the biopsy, so I had to postpone the procedure for a week. And just lying in hospital is 800 euros a day.
