How Much Does Consultation with a neurologist Cost in Turkey?

A consultation with a neurologist in Turkey typically costs from $100 to $100. The final price depends on the specialist's reputation and the diagnostic protocol used. Patients save about 67% compared to the US, where similar consultations average $300. Major medical hubs include Istanbul, Antalya, and Izmir.

  • Specialist reputation: High-ranking professors with international training often charge more for their expertise.
  • City variations: Costs in Istanbul and Ankara typically represent the higher end of the range.
  • Clinical setting: Accredited university hospitals may offer different pricing than smaller private clinics.
  • Additional diagnostics: Costs increase if the visit requires immediate tests like EEG or MRI scans.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Bundling a consultation into a specialized diagnostic program often provides better value than booking tests individually. For example, neuro-checkup packages at JCI-accredited clinics start around $810 and include EEG and ECG. This integrated approach allows for immediate results during your visit. Memorial Şişli Hospital was the first in Turkey to earn JCI accreditation, ensuring high quality. Experts like Dr. Ebru Erbayat Altay bring experience from top US centers like the University of Washington.

Data verified by Bookimed as of July 2026, based on patient requests and official quotes from 153 clinics worldwide. Median costs are based on real invoices (2025–2026) and updated monthly. Actual prices may vary.

Quality of service and knowledge of medical and nursing staff at the highest level
We were at Memorial Ankara on the 27th and 28th of October. The transfer was organised. We were met by Nigora, a member of the international department of the clinic. We saw a neurologist and a cardiologist. We had blood tests, MRI, Doppler, ECG, ECHG, Holter ..... Quality of service and knowledge of medical and nursing staff at the highest level. We are satisfied. Thank God, my dad feels well. He bought all the pills we were prescribed in Ankara.
Everything is for people. The quality of service and knowledge of the medical and nursing staff is at the highest level.
It's all right.

I was consulted by the coordinating doctor Lyubov from BUKIMED. She suggested 3 clinics in Istanbul and 1 in Ankara. We decided on Ankara. The organisation of arrival, stay at the clinic and departure to the airport is organised at the right level. I for one am satisfied with BUCIMED. Way to go!!!

The paediatric neurologist does not dispose the child to herself
The paediatric neurologist does not dispose the child to herself, immediately started talking to the child in her own language, and the child did not understand her, and she took it as if he did not react to her. And she made a diagnosis on this basis. Secondly, there aren't enough interpreters. They're torn between clients,

I do not have a very good impression of the clinic, because we went to do the operation at the agreed price of $ 4000 for the removal of tonsils, on arrival took 200 euros for consultation and said that the operation will cost 5900 euros.Prices are cosmic, it is better to choose another clinic, will be cheaper and not worse result.

"I especially want to note that everything that was done at the highest level is mainly the merit of an employee named Zakhida
On the recommendation of Bookimed, I underwent a medical examination at the Anadolu Medical Center (Turkey). Why did you choose the Anadolu clinic? Because it was the only clinic recommended to me by Bookimed that responded very quickly to my requests, and only this clinic developed and sent me a program for my examination. Two other clinics, such as Medipol, limited themselves only to gratitude that I contacted them, and the Şişli Memorial clinic remained silent until the end without any feedback. I will not dwell on the provision of the Anadolu clinic with the most modern medical equipment, since many Turkish clinics today are equipped with the most modern equipment. I personally became convinced of this at the stage of choosing a clinic, when I got acquainted with the equipment of many clinics. The qualifications of Turkish medical specialists are generally high and they are really professionals in their field. But there is one very important point - the ability to plan and organize medical examinations. For a patient who comes to such institutions with great hopes, any attention or inattention rendered affects his psychological and moral state, and it naturally depends on this what attitude he will determine and form for himself towards the clinic itself. To be in constant contact with the patient from the moment of his desire to visit the clinic, prepare in every possible way for arrival, prepare medical data and analysis results, assist in booking a hotel, meeting at the airport upon arrival, exceptionally efficient planning of all examinations, eliminating any inconvenience for the patient from - for waiting in queues for tests, undergoing procedures and consulting a doctor and much more, this is a huge advantage of the Anadolu clinic over other clinics. I especially want to note that everything that was done at the highest level is mainly the merit of an employee named Zakhida. (international department of the clinic). Professionalism, an individual approach to each patient, impeccable organization of the entire work process, endless energy, high tolerance, femininity, pleasant appearance and many other positive qualities of a person - said about Zakhida. Zahida, please accept my deep gratitude and wish you all the best. Always remain the same joyful, radiant, beautiful and feminine! I also want to thank other employees of the Anadolu clinic, doctors, nurses, translators - thanks to your conscientious work and your high professionalism, I received a quality medical service. . I thank the Bookimed employees (Vladimir, Varvara) for your attention and for the excellent organization of the survey. All the best to you and your loved ones! With great respect, Uktam Eshmuradov (Uzbekistan).

"Thank you very much Bookimed, you are the best, you helped us a lot, especially thanks to Oksana and Anna, they always answered on time and put up with us for more than a month
Hello, we are from Kazakhstan. Came here for diagnosis and treatment of my son. We really liked the clinic. Neurologist Barış Metin explained everything to us in detail. We learned a lot about my son's illness. My son has hydrocephalus and even after the tests we found out that he has epilepsy, the VP-shunt works at an accelerated rate, so my son did not develop. Now we are receiving treatment. We hope it helps insha Allah. I also liked the staff, especially the translators, I forgot the names, but one of them even knows the Kazakh language. It was super convenient. Thank you very much Bookimed, you are the best, you helped us a lot, especially thanks to Oksana and Anna, they always answered on time and put up with us for more than a month. Praise be to Allah everything went well.

The professionalism, the cleanliness of the facility and the well structured systems. Considering the fact that lot more foreign patients visit Memorial, getting more English speaking staff and translators will make life a bit easier especially as some medical terms have no substitute words. Overall my experience was awesome and I am surely returning to continue the rest of my medial review

Aida is just a gorgeous girl, very kind, open, ready to help 24/7 and helps! About the Doctor: I was immediately told that it would not work out to cure me 100%, but the doctor does everything to make it comfortable for me to live with her
I drove with a positive attitude. And of course there were no minuses for me. I was immediately told that it would not work out to cure me 100% (but I already knew 21 years ago that my myasthenia gravis is incurable). But the doctor does everything to make it comfortable for me to live with her. No pulling money here, cool transfer organization. And what kind of translator I had. Aida is just a gorgeous girl, very kind, open, ready to help 24/7 and helps! But it all depends on your mood. If you are traveling with a negative, it’s not worth it. Believe me, as soon as you carry the negative, the disease begins to absorb you. Bookimed care department is generally cool guys, thanks to them, your stay is very comfortable and under the wing of care
