With over 25 years of clinical and academic experience, the doctor is a highly accomplished specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology. The doctor has pursued international professional development, including an observership at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago. After being appointed Associate Professor in 2018, the doctor attained the rank of Professor in 2024 and currently practices as a specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology.
Op. Dr. Gökhan Güzel is an Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist at Atlas University Hospital in Istanbul. He has more than 10 years of clinical and academic experience. His practice includes robotic knee and hip replacement, revision joint replacement, sports medicine, complex trauma surgery, shoulder arthroscopy, ACL and meniscus repairs, stem cell treatments, and pediatric orthopedics.
He earned his medical degree from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine in 2015. He completed specialist training in orthopedics and traumatology at Haseki Training and Research Hospital. He has taught sports surgery and sports medicine at Aksaray University Faculty of Medicine. His research focuses on new surgical technologies, deep learning in orthopedic surgery, and complex fracture care.

Prof. H. Mustafa Özdemir is a Professor of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Medicine. He has more than 30 years of clinical and academic experience. He specializes in adult and pediatric spine surgery. His focus includes spinal deformities, degenerative spine disorders, spinal trauma, and complex spinal reconstruction.
He completed a spine surgery fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. He also received clinical training at Heidelberg University. He has served as Chief Physician and Head of Orthopedics and Traumatology at major teaching hospitals. He is active in medical education and contributes to orthopedics and spine surgery through his academic and clinical work.
Dr. Mustafa Akkaya earned his medical degree from Gazi University (2003–2009). He completed his residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazit University (2009–2014). He holds a PhD in Musculoskeletal System and Regenerative Medicine from the same university (2016–2020).
In 2022, he received the European Knee Society Knee Arthroplasty Traveling Researcher Fellowship in robotic knee arthroplasty. He worked as a clinical researcher at Helios ENDO‑Klinik Hamburg (2021–2022), focusing on advanced joint surgery and prosthetic infections. He also worked as a clinical researcher at Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli, Bologna (2014), focusing on arthroscopic joint surgery, meniscus, and cartilage. In 2013, he held the same role at ATOS Clinic Heidelberg.
Clinical interests include joint surgery, knee and hip surgery, prosthetic infections, meniscus and cartilage surgery, and regenerative medicine.

In Turkey, hotels of different price ranges and service levels are presented. The level of Turkish hotels is comparable to hotels in Tunisia, Morocco or Egypt. Most tourists choose 4 and 5 star hotels with all-inclusive meals. Such hotels have everything for a comfortable stay: varied food, a large well-groomed territory, animation for children and adults. Some hotels have their own water park, which guests can use for free. Budget travelers can afford to book an economical 3-star hotel with half board or no meals at all.
The main advantage of Turkish resorts is the long beach season. On the Mediterranean coast, it starts in April and lasts until November. In the resorts of the Aegean Sea — from May to October. The most comfortable time for swimming is from mid-June to the end of October. A large influx of tourists is in July-August, when the air temperature is +38°C, and the water warms up to +27°C.
