Professor Marcin Sibiński is a specialist in orthopedics and musculoskeletal traumatology. He graduated from the Medical Academy of Łódź in 1999. He earned a PhD in 2004 and a DSc/habilitation in 2010. He received the title of Professor in 2014. He also completed international medical fellowships, including in the UK.
He treats adults and children with non-surgical care and modern operations. His surgical work includes hip arthroplasty, knee and ankle arthroscopy, and specialized foot and hand procedures such as bunion and hammer-toe correction, Achilles tendon procedures, and carpal tunnel release. He also performs in-office orthopedic ultrasound, including infant hip screening (preluxation).
He is an Associate Professor at the Department of Orthopedics and Pediatric Orthopedics in Łódź. He has authored dozens of papers in international medical journals.
Dr. Wan Daqian, MD, PhD, is Associate Chief Physician and Master’s Supervisor in Orthopedics (Joint Surgery) at Shanghai Tongji Hospital. He focuses on joint surgery and sports medicine. He performs shoulder and knee arthroscopy and total hip and knee arthroplasty. He was among the first to use stem-cell therapy for osteoarticular bone-defect disease. His surgical volume ranks among the highest in the region.
He has led 7 grants, including one NSFC General Project. He has published over 20 SCI papers. Some sources report over 30 SCI papers among more than 40 articles, with 8 in Q1 journals, a cumulative impact factor over 100, and a maximum impact factor of 12.153. He has served as a guest editor for multiple journals. He co-authored one monograph.
Credentials and awards: He was mentored by Academician Dai Kerong. He was a visiting scholar in biomedical engineering at UC Berkeley. He received the Shanghai “Super Postdoctoral” award. He is a researcher with the Key Lab of Spine & Spinal Cord Injury (MOE). His honors include the Heilongjiang Medical & Health New Technology Award (Third Prize) and the Harbin Medical & Health New Technology Application Award (First Prize).
With over 25 years of clinical and academic experience, the doctor is a highly accomplished specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology. Clinical expertise encompasses hand surgery, foot and ankle surgery, arthroplasty, orthopedic oncology, and trauma surgery. The doctor has held significant positions at various training and research hospitals, including serving as a founding specialist at the Hand Surgery Clinic of Baltalimanı Bone Diseases Training and Research Hospital.
The doctor has pursued international professional development, including an observership at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago. After being appointed Associate Professor in 2018, the doctor attained the rank of Professor in 2024 and currently practices as a specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology.
