How Much Does Neuropsychological test Cost in Turkey?

A neuropsychological test in Turkey typically costs from $100 to $200. The final price depends on the evaluation complexity and the clinic city. Patients save around 96% compared to the US. In the US, similar diagnostics cost about $2,500 on average. Evaluations in Istanbul often represent the higher end of the local price range.

  • Evaluation complexity: Detailed cognitive maps requiring multiple testing hours increase the final price.
  • City location: Clinics in Istanbul generally charge 10-15% more than those in regional cities.
  • Physician expertise: Fees usually reflect the doctor’s specialization and years of clinical experience.
  • Advanced protocols: Tests used for psychiatric assessments like wakefulness-to-sleep EEG add to costs.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing specialized neuropsychiatric centers often provides better value than general hospitals. NP Istanbul Brain Hospital was the first private neuropsychiatric facility in Turkey. It is JCI-accredited and ranks as a top brain hospital in Europe. Some clinics offer comprehensive mental health programs starting around $21,000. These intensive packages include neuropsychologist consultations, video-EEG, medications, and full board accommodation. Such bundles prove more cost-effective for international patients needing long-term stabilization.

Data verified by Bookimed as of July 2026, based on patient requests and official quotes from 14 clinics worldwide. Median costs are based on real invoices (2025–2026) and updated monthly. Actual prices may vary.

That fear completely dissolved because of the surgeon; he was very attentive and explained everything clearly, which put me at ease
My biggest worry going into the neuropsychological test was feeling overwhelmed and not understanding the process. That fear completely dissolved because of the surgeon; he was very attentive and explained everything clearly, which put me at ease. The professionalism of the whole medical team was evident. While it's still early days in my recovery, I feel supported by the clinic. The Bookimed coordinator was also responsive and helpful during booking. The only small hiccup was that coordination between the international patient department and the nursing staff sometimes felt a bit slow. Overall, a solid choice for care.
