He also served as Chief Physician of Başkent University Adana Kışla Campus for three years. He became a professor at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine in 2009 and remained on the faculty until 2018.

Internationally, he delivered Turkey’s first oral presentations at ASCO in 1999 and at ASTRO in 2000. In 2008 he gained experience at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He has authored many international publications. He now practices at Koru Ankara Hospital.
