I’m Dr. Enrique Pliego Esquivel, a surgeon specializing in bariatric and metabolic surgery with over 8 years of experience transforming lives through advanced surgical solutions. I am proud to be one of the few bariatric surgeons in Mexico who is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). I am also certified by the Mexican Board of Obesity Surgery and the Mexican College of General Surgery.

My primary focus is providing comprehensive care to patients dealing with obesity, obesity-related conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, as well as managing complications from bariatric surgery. Prof. Dr. Engin Tutar was born in Istanbul in 1964. He completed his primary and secondary education at Istanbul Erkek Lisesi between 1975 and 1982, and graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1988. In December of the same year, he started his specialization in the Department of Pediatrics at Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital, becoming a specialist in Pediatrics in February 1993. He completed his subspecialty training in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, becoming a subspecialist in 2006. He served as the Assistant Chief Physician and Acting Chief Physician at the 2nd Pediatric Clinic of Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital between 2010 and 2012. In May 2012, he transferred to Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, where he became an Associate Professor in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition in 2014, and a Professor in 2020. Alongside his international and national article authorships, he has given over 50 presentations at congresses/courses/association meetings. He retired in May 2024 while serving as the head of the Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition department at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine. As of June 2024, he is accepting patients at Hisar Hospital Intercontinental.

Dr. Ayhan Levent is an internal medicine specialist and assistant professor at NP Istanbul Brain Hospital. He has worked there since 2020. He graduated from the Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine in 2011. Prof. Dr. Aytaç ATAMER was born on January 31, 1964 in Adapazarı. He started his medical education at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine and graduated in 1987. After completing his residency training at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Atamer worked as a specialist physician at the Social Insurance Institution (SSK) Diyarbakır Hospital. He then continued to work as a specialist physician at Diyarbakır Training and Research Hospital.

In 2008, he completed his upper specialization at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital Gastroenterology Clinic and in the same year, he was named Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital. In 2011, he continued his duty with the duty of establishing Yalova State Hospital Gastroenterology Clinic and compulsory service and in 2013, he became a faculty member at Yalova University. Between 2017 and 2022, he worked as a Professor at Çamlıca Erdem Hospital Gastroenterology Clinic.

Since 2022, he has been working as a Gastroenterology Specialist and Internal Medicine Specialist at NPISTANBUL Brain Hospital.

Dr. Camel Kopty is a specialist in internal medicine, gastroenterology, endoscopy, and hepatology. He focuses on liver and pancreatic diseases, as well as bile duct disorders.
