So, in the end, the whole package was just right. The coordinator was always on hand for me, organised everything she could and also cleared up any uncertainties. She was absolutely brilliant. The doctor was very friendly, but always rather curt. Because of the language barrier, it wasn’t that easy to sort out many things straight away. That usually only happened afterwards in the coordinator’s WhatsApp group. The transfer and the hotel we’d chosen were also great, and above all, everyone was friendly. The clinic was OK. The rooms didn’t feel as sterile as they do in Germany, but the medical care was very good. Even with the language barrier, the nursing staff always made an effort to chat with you. It was a good thing I had Google Translate.

I was promised a detailed preliminary consultation, but this did not take place. An interpreter on site would have been very helpful. I would recommend a longer stay of at least 10 days. My journey home was anything but pleasant. The wound drains were removed on the day of departure, even though there was still too much wound fluid being produced. On arriving in Germany, I went straight to A&E to rule out any more serious complications.

This was particularly important to me because dealing with health issues and upcoming surgical treatment, one wants to ensure they are turning to reliable professionals and are in safe hands. Upon arrival in Istanbul, everything was top-notch—transfer service, interpreter, coordinators, doctor consultations, and surgery preparation were all meticulously planned, leaving us with no worries. The surgery went excellently; even before the procedure, they ensured I was well-prepared. I didn't even notice how I ended up in the operating room. I woke up post-operation in the ward where my husband was waiting for me. The excellent surgeon, Levent Yalçın, conducted the surgery, accompanied me at all stages, and always answered questions. The staff at Group Florence Nightingale Hospitals was very polite and responsive. They regularly checked on my well-being, measured blood pressure, and temperature. The conditions in the room were like a 5-star hotel, or even better, with additional amenities available in the restroom for patients. I would also like to thank Alisher, the international department coordinator, for his kindness and responsiveness, and interpreter Darya for her support and assistance in communicating with the doctors and staff.

All staff members made me feel very comfortable. I traveled on my own and felt well cared for and looked after in the clinic. The included hotel was basic but nice. The procedure went well with a fast recovery.

I was bit unsure of the days I would be going back to the clinic for a check up and for further treatment but I was checked on through WhatsApp daily and felt reassured knowing that I could contact them at any time if I felt unwell.

Excellent communication with the coordinator. Everything was booked for me - the procedure, hotel & ALL the transfers. I didn't have to worry about anything once I was in Turkey.

Every part of the Process was Good when it started to GREAT by the Time the Surgery started to the Care I received before and after the Surgery itself.

My Only Complaint was not all the Staff Spoke English. But we made it.
