How Much Does Diagnostic Evaluation of autism Cost in Turkey?

Diagnostic evaluation of autism in Turkey typically costs from $300 to $500. Prices depend on the assessment tools used and the depth of the neurological screening. Families save about 86% compared to the US, where similar evaluations cost $2,900 on average. Most Turkish programs include specialist consultations and developmental tests designed for international patients.

  • Specialist consultations: Pediatric neurologists and psychiatrists usually conduct the primary assessments in Istanbul.
  • Clinical screenings: Prices increase when tools like the CARS test or genetic sequencing are added.
  • Neurological testing: Tests like EEG or brain MRI can add $200 to $300 to basics.
  • Comprehensive packages: Programs often bundle blood work, urine tests, and imaging into one fixed price.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Bundled diagnostic programs in Istanbul offer high value by combining multiple specialties in one week. NP Istanbul Brain Hospital provides structured packages that include genetic testing and MRI for about $6,300. This facility is the first private neuropsychiatric hospital in Turkey and holds JCI accreditation. Expert teams there use personalized genotyping to help tailor future treatment plans for each child. Choosing a multidisciplinary center ensures all necessary tests happen in a single, coordinated visit.

This created an impression of a professional and well-prepared approach
Our son is 6 years old and has been diagnosed with ASD. We arrived at Memorial Şişli Clinic on Monday. On the same day, we had a consultation with Dr. Betül Tavil. The doctor carefully examined our son and immediately began asking questions, to which she seemed to already have some answers. This created an impression of a professional and well-prepared approach. After the consultation, the doctor recommended stem cell therapy. With our consent, the cells were ordered immediately, considering they would be delivered to the clinic within three days. On the same day, we provided four vials of blood. Three days later, the stem cell administration procedure took place. The total dose consisted of 50 million cells: 1% was administered into the spinal cord, and the remainder was given via intravenous infusion. The procedure itself lasted approximately 10–15 minutes and went smoothly. Afterward, a supportive IV drip was administered to the child. Overall, we stayed in the hospital for about 4–4.5 hours, after which we were discharged. At this point, we have observed no side effects in the child.
Prompt service, and the doctor, Betul Tavil, is very personable and I confidently say she is truly a professional in her field.
About Bookimed service
Our experience collaborating with Bookimed was very pleasant. Communication was easy and clear — our messages were always answered promptly, all issues were explained in detail, and helpful advice was provided. When necessary, Bookimed representatives contacted us by phone, which was particularly convenient and reassuring. It felt like they genuinely wanted to help us, rather than just respond formally. Thank you to the Bookimed team for your support, attentiveness, and human approach. We are left with only positive impressions.
