How Much Does MRI of one area Cost in Turkey?

An MRI of one area in Turkey typically costs from $200 to $200. Prices vary based on the specific body part or required contrast agents. Clinics in major cities like Istanbul and Antalya offer various specialized protocols. In the US, similar diagnostics cost about $700 on average. Turkey provides savings of about 71% compared to US rates.

  • Brain imaging: Typically starts around $200 for a standard scan. Specialists often review these images to detect neurological conditions.
  • Orthopedic scans: Focused imaging for joints or extremities usually costs about $200. These sessions often include a consultation with an orthopedic surgeon.
  • Spinal assessment: Full spine protocols may cost more than a single-area scan. A complete spinal evaluation can reach approximately $200.
  • Contrast protocols: Adding gadolinium dye typically increases the base price by some margin. This agent helps highlight blood vessels or specific tissue changes.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Booking diagnostic bundles often provides better value than standalone scans. Basic brain evaluation packages start around $400. This price includes both the MRI scan and a neurosurgical consultation. Such programs allow for immediate results interpretation by experts like those at Anadolu Medical Center. This facility is notably affiliated with Johns Hopkins Medicine International. This partnership ensures high diagnostic standards for the 65,000 patients treated there annually. Many top-tier Turkish hospitals now hold JCI accreditation. This confirms they follow the same rigorous safety protocols as leading US medical centers.

Data verified by Bookimed as of June 2026, based on patient requests and official quotes from 262 clinics worldwide. Median costs are based on real invoices (2025–2026) and updated monthly. Actual prices may vary.

"Well, in general, I am very pleased
Anadolu is a great clinic. The level of doctors is very high. Fresh equipment, pleasant translators and approach to patients - there is nothing bad to say. From weak links I can only select coordinators. Here everything is not always good. Well, in general, I am very pleased. Treated oncology there. Seen how many guys pulled. For radiation therapy definitely there!
