Breast cancer is treated after confirmation of the diagnosis by testing a small piece of the affected tissue. Then we provide a few tests to assess the spread of disease and its nature in the particular patient. When we confirm the diagnosis and find out the results of its spreading and cause, we consider treatment with surgery to remove the disease locally and in the armpits. Or we inject medicines (chemotherapy) to reduce the spread, and then we perform surgery. After surgery, the patient may undergo chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy (treatment with rays). Some cases also need oral tablets for 5 years after the treatment.
