Surgery in Turkey, I am 60 years old, and I travelled to Istanbul for a Deep Plane Facelift and a lower and upper Blepharoplasty. From the moment I arrived at Lokman Hekim Hospital, everything was taken care of by Ismael Ali, who is an easy going and friendly translator. The pre-operative test were done as soon as I arrived. The day after I met Doctor Murat Yaman who is a friendly and open person. Before travelling to Istanbul I checked his background and found him to be a very good and competent surgeon. So, on that day I was relaxed for the surgery because I knew I was going to be in good hands. The work he did on me was outstanding. I am still in the healing process. My eyes are a bit irritated, but that is normal. My face is still a bit swollen but it no longer hangs. My face has changed expression from appearing to be sad or angry to reflecting a normal emotion. A big thanks to the Lokman Hekim Hospital staff some of them spoke a little bit of English others were fluent but all of them were caring, kind, super friendly and always ready to help.

The medical team members are so friendly and helpful. Although I speak zero Korean, I can sense their passion and empathy, which dramatically reduced my anxiety to go through the surgery. They are very supportive from the right beginning to the end when I left Seoul. And big thanks to the assistance from Yena, who provides detailed before and after care instructions rather than just working as an interpreter. Now two months after surgery, I am quite happy with the shape of my new eyelids. They look much younger and alert.

I had plastic surgery on the upper and lower eyelids. I can describe my experience as follows: an absolute feeling of safety and comfort throughout the provision of the service. I stayed at the clinic for 6 days, good conditions, separate room, 3 meals a day. The medical staff was always on the phone, they helped in any situation. I was surprised that manipulations with blood (taking analyses, treatment of stitches after surgery) are carried out without disposable gloves, for this a huge minus. Consultations with the doctor were also very fast, he was always in a hurry. I had a lot of questions, but half of them remained unanswered. He does his job, but especially does not explain or tell anything. For me this is also a disadvantage.

This is the second time I have been to this Hospital and both experiences have been absolutely brilliant the hotel is absolutely gorgeous and lovely staff very helpful and the hospital is beautiful to very clean the staff are so friendly and helpful and they don't make you sit around and wait as soon as I walk in they bring you straight up to your room talk to you you about the operation and the surgeon is out of this world if I could give 10 stars for it I would and Abdul Who who is the person who liaison between me and the hospital is so so helpful and very pleasant to speak to you I have so many friends that want to go over to get procedures done there as well I highly recommend this Hospital and the doctor best experience ever and best results and best prices also thank you everyone .

Everything went very well. I was met from the airport, put in a hotel, brought to the hospital and taken away, at the end we took him to the airport. Always in touch. After the operation I was under the supervision of experienced doctors.
