Dr. İlhan, who was the founder and president of the Hemapheresis Society in 2000, joined the World Apheresis Association (WAA) in 2001. Dr. İlhan, who is an active member of the European Hematology Association (EHA), was a member of the accreditation committee (ECAH) for education. He served as the founding president of the Cellular Therapy and Regenerative Medicine Association established in 2008.
