Doctor
Dr. Serhii Kovalchuk is a dental surgeon. He graduated from the Ukrainian Medical Dental Academy in 2015. He focuses on dental implants, complex tooth extractions, radicular cyst removal, sinus lifts, prosthetics, bone plate placement, and soft tissue augmentation.
He has completed advanced training in X-ray diagnostics, surgical dentistry, implant prosthetics, and anesthesia. Dr. Kovalchuk is known for his skills in modern dental techniques. He has attended many courses and conferences in Kyiv and Poltava. His main interests are new methods in dental surgery and implantology.

Types of mastectomy
- according to Halsted (removal of pectoralis major and minor muscles and axillary tissue);
- according to Urban (removal of pectoralis major and minor muscles, axillary tissue and lymph nodes);
- according to Patty (removal of the mammary gland and pectoralis minor muscle);
- according to Madden (removal of the gland with preservation of the pectoral muscles).
Benefits of mastectomy:
- the possibility of complete reconstruction of the glands ;
- the chance of recurrence is lower than with lumpectomy.
Disadvantages of breast removal

Side effects of mastectomy
