We need to see X-RAY and MRI for both knees, to see the classification of gonarthrosis
we may plan a "knee prosthesis" surgery for both knees, in the same session.
In this process, the deformed cartilage tissues forming, the knee joint will be removed,
and the existing surface will be replaced with an implant.
Surgery will take approx. 3 hour and 30min for both knees.
During the operation planning stage, the patient's blood will be taken for blood examinations
We will prepare at least 2 units of blood for the operation (1 unit for each knee).
You will start walking at the other day of the operation, our “Physiotherapy doctor” will be
ready for you to support after the surgery, and he will teach necessary exercise during
the hospital. He will prepare a video for you for you to repeat at your home as well.
