All in all was very impressed
During my consultation, the surgeon and I discussed what results would best suit my specific facial symmetry. This set the tone for the entire process. I didn't have any expectations and all in all was very impressed. I went alone which can make one feel more vulnerable but I was well taken care of and extended a lot of grace for my forgetfulness. My procedure was on both upper eyelids, and while it's too early to tell the final outcome, I can confirm there were no additional expenses. Everything was clear. For anyone considering this, I think it's important to ask about adapting your expectations to your specific uniqueness and go in asking about results that would best suit you.

While it's still too early to see the final look, I love the results already
My main concern before traveling was getting a result that didn't look like me. My surgeon was fantastic in addressing this; he was honest about realistic outcomes for my age, carefully examined my facial structure, and showed photos of similar patients. We agreed on a deep plane facelift for my face only. While it's still too early to see the final look, I love the results already. It's gonna be perfect after the swelling settles down. My one critique is that I would have loved to get some more specific and detailed info on the techniques. Getting my whole medical report would have been nice. On a practical note, there were no additional expenses. My advice for anyone considering this: take your time and trust the process. Be prepared for some facelift blues and buyer's remorse during your initial recovery—it's part of it.

All the staff members made me feel very comfortable
All the staff members made me feel very comfortable. As I traveled on my own, I felt well cared for and looked after in the clinic, and the included hotel was basic but nice. The procedure went well. I was initially a bit unsure about the schedule for my follow-up appointments, but the team checked on me daily through WhatsApp, which was reassuring. My surgeon explained why the transconjunctival technique, leaving no visible scar, was the right choice for me, and the surgery was performed under local anesthesia with sedation. So far, my recovery is going about as expected. One piece of advice: bring a V-pillow. The clinic only mentioned I'd need to sleep upright on the day, and having one made my hotel stay much more comfortable.

If you're considering an Afro hair transplant, the most important thing is to be prepared. I would advise anyone who wants to do this to prepare for pain; it’s not an easy process. My procedure involved up to 2,000 grafts. One thing that stood out was the surgeon taking the time to draw my new hairline with me before we began, which helped set clear expectations for the outcome. Since the procedure, the clinic has stayed in touch. It is too early to tell what the final results will be. On a practical note, I can confirm there were no additional expenses on top of what was quoted. For these reasons, I rated my overall experience, the surgeon, staff, and clinic a 4 out of 5.
