From the minute I was inquiring about an appointment through to an entire 2 hours of tests, I felt completely taken care of. Being in a foreign country where it’s not your first language can be daunting when needing healthcare. My healthcare navigator Leen was so wonderful. She brought me to each doctor or department, got me situated and was also my translator. She was kind, compassionate & so incredibly helpful. I was incredibly grateful to have her by my side. I saw Dr. Bassols who was incredibly warm, knowledgeable and put my fears at ease. The other technicians were also wonderful and caring. From April to July 2017, I underwent a treatment in the Oncology Department at Teknon. I came to this hospital thanks to Bookimed International Patients Support Center. Doctor-coordinator Christina has supported me and I am sincerely grateful for her help! The treatment in the hospital was at the highest level, and it ended successfully. I have recovered!!! I want to thank all the doctors who directly have treated me, especially Dr. Capdevila and to Dr. Jorcano. The International Department employees were very helpful — I had no difficulties in communication with medical team.
