I can 100% recommend this clinic and surgeon

I was nervous travelling to a different country where I don’t know the language for this operation. Also this surgeon and hospital was about 20% cheaper than other offers and I hoped that wouldn’t be reflected in the quality of care. I shouldn’t have worried! I felt taken care of the whole time. They went above and beyond to make sure I was Ok. Ismael my co-ordinator and translator was lovely and professional. The doctor did an amazing job with my nose and I am so happy with the results. I can 100% recommend this clinic and surgeon.

Admittedly, when I booked the surgery, I was a little sceptical that everything would go well. After all, everything was done online. However, I was very impressed with how good and friendly the constant communication was. I was already feeling increasingly confident here. I also received very good, uninterrupted and professional treatment and care on site. My doctor Dr Burak and my contact person Olivia were very friendly and incredibly helpful. The transfers - to/from the airport or to follow up appointments at the clinic - were very good and reliable. The contact persons at Bookimed also contacted me regularly and enquired about my well-being. I am very pleased with the outcome of the surgery and am pleased to be recovering quickly and well. Dr Burak continues to monitor me now and I feel I am being very well looked after. His instructions are clear and very helpful. I am satisfied with everything and I am glad that I chose this clinic

Wonderful team. Mustafa - interpreter-coordinator organised everything as conveniently as possible. He was always on the phone, ready to solve any issue. The whole trip: from the transfer at the airport to the first result of the operation - just top. The transfer, the hotel where I was accommodated, the hospital and its hospital room - excellent. Attentive medical staff. Not all nurses spoke English but were always willing to help, used the translator on the phone. The doctor is energetic, understanding and speaks English, so there were no problems with communication. I am satisfied with everything and I am glad that I chose this clinic.

Thank you, next time I come for implants

I came here to enlarge my breasts by transferring fat from my legs to my breasts. They increased but not as much as I wanted ( They were beautiful when there was swelling after the surgery. But after three days everything was gone and I saw the final result. Although in two weeks they may not become even smaller…) I highly recommend girls to do implants and not waste their time and money on fat that may eventually disappear completely if you do gym etc . The doctor warned me that such results would occur, but I didn’t want implants and hoped for a miracle with fat…I recommend this clinic and doctor Feridun Elmas Thank you ,next time I come for implants

I like how efficient everything was. Was met at the airport and welcomed then transferred to my hotel. Met Dr Ersa Ozbasli the next morning who was amazing and very friendly. Her expertise and explanation of my procedure was excellent. I really felt like she was passionate and empathetic towards my needs and explained everything in detail which I loved . Staff were attentive and available. Felt very supported. I would recommend this clinic and Doctor to everyone.

It’s incredible value for the level of skill and comfort you receive

There’s a reason Turkey is the number one destination for medical tourism! I decided to book my procedure at Aktif International Hospital with Dr. Umran after having several consultations with other surgeons in my home city of Phoenix, USA and nearby Tijuana, Mexico. The surgical expertise, care by hospital staff and high end accommodations made my decision to fly to Istanbul a choice I stand behind. I highly recommend booking your surgery at Aktif International Hospital. It’s incredible value for the level of skill and comfort you receive. Many of my friends want to go here for their next procedure after seeing my results.

The warmth of the people I met. Even though I traveled by myself, I didn’t feel alone.

The painkillers post-op weren’t strong enough and I couldn’t sleep for two days after surgery.

The medical staff treated me disrespectfully several times. 1) immediately after the operation I was supposed to be taken to the ward and iced, instead I was left in the corridor alone for about 15-20 minutes until I started asking for help from passers-by, and it was difficult for me to speak as my lips were cut. 2) I was not offered any anaesthetic after the operation and was not even asked how I was. I had to ask for medicine myself and it was brought to me only after half an hour, but how much fun they had in the corridor laughing and chatting! 3) The nurse went to measure my blood pressure, put a cuff on my arm and left, and it was beeping for about 5 minutes until I took it all off, and when she came back an hour later, she was not interested in the indicators. 4) I was not even warned that we would have to sleep in the hospital the first night before the operation, although I asked the interpreter about the hotel in advance, it's good that we did not book a room in advance! 5) the surgeon did not even ask what shape I want to give my lips and when before the operation made a sketch, they did not even bring me a mirror! There is no point in adding photos yet, the result will be clearer in about a month, when it heals better.

The medical staff does not care about the patient.
