In the questionnaire, there was a question regarding my health concerns which I responded to. I feel that those concerns were not visited with any doctors. I liked the speed of the procedures and professionalism of the program staff. But it felt like I was on a factory line, too robot-like. Wish I had known that I could keep my phone with me. I saw others using phones while waiting to get in to exam rooms but I did not now we were allowed to have phone on us.

Excellent service. Initially, I had a doubt this platform was real. But I learned to trust it. Still I have doubts in the back of my mind especially when I provide personal info that are sensitive.

The stay was as usual with the expectation, I can not say anything about trust, because we just had a survey. I can’t write anything about the ward since we were in the clinic where they were conducting the examination. All medicine is put on stream. But in any case, I am sure that medicine is at a high level. I went through the basic package, I was satisfied with whether or not I can not even say.

The rest I liked everything
Good evening! In the Severance clinic itself, I liked everything. Everything is very organized. Polite clinic staff. There was one caveat. Nobody told me that preparations for a colonoscopy will be delivered to the hotel. If I hadn’t come to Severance hospital the day before, I’ve found a girl who speaks Russian. She phoned the clinic and explained that the package should wait at the hotel. A. So I would not be prepared on the appointed day. The rest I liked everything. I plan to come to you in a year. Thanks for all !!

What happens if abnormal findings are discovered during the check-up?

Abnormal findings during a Korean medical check-up trigger a structured review process. Doctors compare results with your medical history and physical exams. These findings often lead to confirmatory testing, specialist referrals, or advanced imaging. Most clinics provide a comprehensive consultation within 2 weeks.

  • Follow-up timeline: Detailed results and treatment plans are usually presented within 1–2 weeks.
  • Monitoring protocols: Minor findings like thyroid nodules often move to active surveillance and regular monitoring.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While many patients worry about abnormal results, high-volume centers like SNUBH or Na-Eun Hospital use AI-driven systems to minimize human error. These digital systems quickly flag urgent issues, often resulting in callbacks within 24–48 hours for findings like lung nodules.
