Being asked to pay extra costs at the last minute was deeply frustrating, souring the entire process. The surgeon was fantastic, and the clinic staff were good. The results speak for themselves; 15 days out, my chest width has perfect proportions and there’s great muscle separation with the medium Polytech implants. But the financial surprise was a significant issue. My advice is this: If you have fat in the chest area and are getting pectoral implants, ensure that gynaecomastia fat removal is negotiated in your final price! Also make sure that whoever your consultant is is readily available to attend to any issues I was ghosted for 48 hours by mine. She had a personal incident in her defence, however, if you’re in a foreign country by yourself, there should be someone to attend to you 24 hours a day regardless of personal incidents time or day somebody should’ve been available as a backup. In summary, it’s very important to make sure exactly what is covered and what is not I was told that everything would be covered except for my flight one in fact, all that was covered was the surgery breakfast hotel accommodations, which were originally terrible and transportation back-and-forth to hospital airport and follow up appointments. In reality, only breakfast was covered. You had to get your own lunch and dinner. Any medications that are prescribed post surgery, including compression vests, or any extra costs are to be covered by the patient and only told at the last minute. It is not in fact, all inclusive. It’s all inclusive in hotel, including breakfast and transportation. Everything else is on you to cover yourself.

If you're thinking about this, my main piece of advice is to be mentally ready for the procedure, as it can be overwhelming. I’m in early recovery from my breast reduction and lift, and I am feeling better than expected. My surgeon was great; he was honest about what results were realistic for my body and clearly explained all the risks, which gave me confidence. The clinic team was easy to reach and stayed in touch. Do be aware of some additional expenses – I had a prescription that cost extra at the pharmacy. A few practical tips: bring a spare compression garment, cotton t-shirts to wear underneath it, and your own snacks. Also, having my mum with me has been pivotal to my recovery, so I'd suggest bringing a companion if you can.

The single positive aspect of this entire process was the staff. They were wonderful. Unfortunately, my experience with the surgeon and the clinic itself was profoundly disappointing, and I'm very concerned with how my otoplasty recovery is going so far. The gap between the supportive staff and the actual medical treatment I received is hard to understand. The facility did not meet my expectations for a medical setting in any capacity. Based on this, I would absolutely not recommend this clinic to anyone considering a similar procedure.

Even though I’m still quite puffy around my jawline, the lift in my jowls is already a dramatic improvement. That part is a huge relief. I felt very secure and taken care of through the entire experience. All of my inquiries were answered very promptly by both the bookiemed coordinator, the assistant, and my doctor (Dr. C Altindąg), is very experienced and talked me through what to expect and analyzed my nose very thoroughly. I breath perfectly now after surgery and my nose is a lot straighter (I had a severe deviated septum and other complications from a past surgery that he identified and corrected including a mirgrated graft and a droopy tip).
