How Much Does Lower body lift Cost in Turkey?

A lower body lift in Turkey typically costs from $3,200 to $5,400. Final pricing depends on the surgical extent, such as 360-degree contouring, and the clinic's service tier. In the US, patients pay around $25,000 on average, while Turkey offers savings of approximately 83%. Standard packages usually include hospital stays, VIP transfers, and specialized post-operative medications.

  • Surgical technique: Advanced methods like VASER liposuction may increase costs but provide smoother skin results.
  • Clinical accreditation: Facilities with JCI or ISO certifications often charge more for high safety standards.
  • Destination hubs: Primary centers for this procedure include Istanbul, Ankara, and Antalya.
  • Package tiers: Premium options in Istanbul may cost 15-20% more than standard regional packages.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing a surgeon with specific post-bariatric credentials offers the best value for skin removal. Specialists like Dr. Selchuk Aytach, president of the Post-Bariatric Surgery Association, provide targeted expertise. High-volume centers like Dr. MED report a 98.5% success rate for mommy makeovers. Memorial Şişli Hospital, the first JCI-accredited facility in Turkey, ensures top-tier safety for complex body contouring.

I have given a review on trust pilot, and have given everything a 10
I would give the whole experience a 5, in fact apart from the food, everything was first class. I have given a review on trust pilot, and have given everything a 10. I have had surgery myself last year, and the experience was not good. Everyone was great, from the beginning. And a big thank you to Winnington, who was so great from the beginning.

My surgeon was great; he was honest about what results were realistic for my body and clearly explained all the risks, which gave me confidence
If you're thinking about this, my main piece of advice is to be mentally ready for the procedure, as it can be overwhelming. I’m in early recovery from my breast reduction and lift, and I am feeling better than expected. My surgeon was great; he was honest about what results were realistic for my body and clearly explained all the risks, which gave me confidence. The clinic team was easy to reach and stayed in touch. Do be aware of some additional expenses – I had a prescription that cost extra at the pharmacy. A few practical tips: bring a spare compression garment, cotton t-shirts to wear underneath it, and your own snacks. Also, having my mum with me has been pivotal to my recovery, so I'd suggest bringing a companion if you can.
The co-ordinator at Bookimed, Winnington was brilliant. No matter how many questions I had he was able to answer them promptly and with one small hiccup from the hospital Winnington went out of his way to try and package a new procedure for me. My co-ordinator Eyyub at Optimed hospital was outstanding. The hospital was great, the staff on my floor were fantastic. We used goggle translate when the co-ordinator wasn’t with us if we came up against a language barrier but that was not very often. I was cared for before and after my surgery by the nursing staff who could not do enough for myself and my mum. I 10000000% recommend Bookimed & Optimed hospital
Post op instructions could be better. I have suggested to them to put together a general guide of what to do and not to do and for however long. What’s normal and if something doesn’t feel right who to contact etc. I think this will greatly help international patients and help the hospital co-ordinators from being hounded with a load of questions from several patients all at once. Peace of mind for the patient and a little more support for the co-ordinator. The food is catered for Turkish patients and can be hard for international patients to eat. Again, I have suggested to them to try having a small box of fibrous cereal available at breakfast time and instead of a full meal at lunch time something simple like sandwiches or rolls/bagels/baked goods. Dinner was usually ok and we were able to eat most of that but our daytime diet is a little less than they were providing and there was a lot of food waste which they could minimise & use the money elsewhere if there was a cater to international patients diets.

The single positive aspect of this entire process was the staff. They were wonderful. Unfortunately, my experience with the surgeon and the clinic itself was profoundly disappointing, and I'm very concerned with how my otoplasty recovery is going so far. The gap between the supportive staff and the actual medical treatment I received is hard to understand. The facility did not meet my expectations for a medical setting in any capacity. Based on this, I would absolutely not recommend this clinic to anyone considering a similar procedure.
Do not go with bookimed.com. I didn’t liked from the moment when I arrived to airport anyone wasn’t there to pick me up, you know when you arrive any place you have no internet and you can’t make any phone calls or text so night mares already start.

The surgeon and the clinic itself were excellent
The possibility of breathing issues was my primary concern going into this. And honestly, that has been the biggest challenge in recovery so far, with one nostril constantly feeling stuffed. My surgeon performed a closed rhinoplasty. Everything is still very swollen along the bridge, but I can already see that my nose tip appears more refined, which is a great sign. The surgeon and the clinic itself were excellent. The general staff were great, though post-op instructions could have been a bit more explicit. I'm satisfied with the medical care I received so far
Dr. Erol is an amazing doctor, his work was amazing he truly listened to my request and expectations and he was really patient and reassuring. The medical assistance team as well, they really took good care of me, they were present when i needed them.
post-op instructions could’ve been explained better

I felt in such safe hands throughout and would recommend my surgeon Dr Yunus Emre Seker and his team to anyone
I loved the coordinator / interpreter. Totally made me feel at ease and comfortable in what I would only describe as an anxious situation especially with the language barrier and the unknown of where you are going. The surgeon himself was wonderful and even had a coffee with me before hand which made me feel completely at ease. I felt in such safe hands throughout and would recommend my surgeon Dr Yunus Emre Seker and his team to anyone. Thank-you so much :)

The lift in my jowls is already a dramatic improvement
My biggest worry was how the final result would look, and whether it would be worth the recovery. Even though I’m still quite puffy around my jawline, the lift in my jowls is already a dramatic improvement. That part is a huge relief. The staff and clinic environment were excellent from start to finish. Turning my head feels slightly tight but okay. The surgeon did good work, though I rated them a 4/5 as I felt some communication could have been a bit more compassionate after surgery. The most challenging part has absolutely been sleeping elevated. That's no fun. I would still recommend this clinic.
The Bookined coordinator and the Quartz Clinic staff were fantastic: supportive, helpful, compassionate. All updates were communicated to me promptly. The hotel booked for me is really excellent, with smooth transfers and kind drivers. Spot on!
I didn't give the doctor 5 stars because she made me cry the day after surgery. She could adopt a different approach towards me after surgery, with more understanding and compassion, especially since I was there on my own and at the end of the day, she's received all the information required, it doesn't matter from whom. The stress has a significant impact on me. Aside from that, she was great.

The moment I saw the result, even with the initial swelling, I could tell the shape was exactly what I wanted
The moment I saw the result, even with the initial swelling, I could tell the shape was exactly what I wanted. It’s a great feeling. My goal was a more defined tip, and that's precisely what the surgeon delivered using an open approach. The whole process was smooth, and the staff were genuinely caring. The most difficult part of recovery so far is just having to sleep upright, which is temporary. A huge bonus is that I am breathing perfectly through my nose already. I am so grateful for the surgeon's skill and the clear communication from the team.

the care provided by the surgeon and all the staff was impeccable
If you’re thinking about arm liposuction, I’d advise you to prepare for the recovery. My surgeon used the VASER ultrasound technique and, although it’s still early days, my compression sleeves are already too loose. My mobility is limited; my biggest difficulty right now is reaching for things above my head. It’s also important to be patient with the results, because when I look in the mirror today, I can see that one arm looks different from the other, and I’m confident that will even out over time. Despite these minor aspects of the process, the care provided by the surgeon and all the staff was impeccable. I would recommend the clinic.

The surgeon and staff were brilliant and supportive throughout
My biggest worry was ending up with an unnatural shape, but the surgeon’s approach and clear communication completely put me at ease. Right now, things still look a little patchy as about half the transplanted hairs have fallen out, which I was told to expect during this early stage of healing. It’s a process. The biggest challenge has honestly been a personal one: just remembering to avoid touching them! The surgeon and staff were brilliant and supportive throughout. While the clinic facilities were fine, the personal care from the team made all the difference. I'm very satisfied with my choice.

Right now, I am feeling better than expected
I remember seeing the computer imaging of my new nose during the consultation and feeling confident. My surgeon was very honest about what was realistic, and I appreciated that he personally handled everything from that first meeting to the surgery itself. He performed an open rhinoplasty to reshape my bridge and tip. Right now, I am feeling better than expected. The clinic staff has been great with follow-up; they've stayed in touch, are easy to reach, and gave me a clear aftercare guide. It was also reassuring that there were no additional expenses. If you're wondering what to bring, don't worry—they prepare you for everything, and nothing was missing for me.
Everything was wonderful, we are very satisfied, everyone was helpful and very kind and the results are the best.

The surgeon did an excellent job – the incisions were made using the traditional method and are now hidden in the natural folds of the skin
I was worried that the scars from the upper and lower eyelid surgery would be noticeable. Fortunately, the surgeon did an excellent job – the incisions were made using the traditional method and are now hidden in the natural folds of the skin. I have no complaints about him whatsoever. However, the overall impression was greatly marred by the clinic itself, where the conditions were unsatisfactory. Recovery is still ongoing. My eyes are still swollen, and I’ve noticed that when I smile, one side looks slightly different. I hope this will pass. The main advice I would give to anyone considering this procedure is to prepare thoroughly for the period before and after the operation.

I breath perfectly now after surgery and my nose is a lot straighter
I felt very secure and taken care of through the entire experience. All of my inquiries were answered very promptly by both the bookiemed coordinator, the assistant, and my doctor (Dr. C Altindąg), is very experienced and talked me through what to expect and analyzed my nose very thoroughly. I breath perfectly now after surgery and my nose is a lot straighter (I had a severe deviated septum and other complications from a past surgery that he identified and corrected including a mirgrated graft and a droopy tip). I'm still quite swollen but look forward to seeing final results in a few months.

I now feel better than I expected
What I remember most about the whole process was the doctor’s approach. Before the operation, he personally marked the incision lines on my upper eyelids and honestly explained what I could realistically expect from the result. The procedure was carried out under general anaesthetic, and I now feel better than I expected. It was a great help that the doctor personally checked on me after the operation, and the clinic provided clear aftercare instructions. There were no additional costs. The only advice I would give to future patients is to make sure you confirm the exact date and time of the operation in advance.

We will be going back for other treatment and truly can’t recommend them enough
Sitting in the clinic in Antalya, the surgeon explained how the laser-assisted technique for my upper eyelids would function during the procedure. The whole service was smooth and we had a fantastic time throughout our stay. The aftercare was good. I was thrilled with how my eyes looked at 12 days, although at day 15 my biggest challenge is that they are still puffy. My eyes look natural and smooth when I smile. It is a process. We will be going back for other treatment and truly can’t recommend them enough. If you are considering eyelid surgery, ensure you have a few weeks to let the initial swelling settle.

But the calmness and poise of the doctor and his team completely dispelled my doubts
I liked everything overall. Initially, I was very afraid, starting with the flight to another country, the transfer to the hotel and the operation itself. But the calmness and poise of the doctor and his team completely dispelled my doubts. 5 hours after the operation I returned to the hotel. Which is also very good because the hospital ward is the worst for me. Exactly after a week I took off the splint, my nose was still swollen. The nose is proportional to my face. When the swelling goes down it will be smaller

FAQ about Lower body lift in Turkey

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

How long is the recovery period after a lower body lift?

Recovery from a lower body lift in Turkey typically requires 2 to 4 weeks for basic mobility and 6 to 12 weeks for full physical comfort. While patients often return to sedentary work within 21 days, complete scar maturation and final contouring can take 6 to 12 months.

  • Hospital stay: Expect 1 to 2 nights for monitoring in JCI-accredited facilities like Memorial Şişli Hospital.
  • Drain management: Surgical drains stay in for 1 to 2 weeks to prevent fluid buildup (seroma).
  • Compression therapy: Wearing specialized medical garments is mandatory 24/7 for the first 3 to 4 weeks.
  • Activity restrictions: Heavy lifting and strenuous exercise are strictly prohibited for at least 6 to 8 weeks.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Surgeons like Dr. Md Caner Kaya at Avicenna International Hospital, who has performed over 10,000 surgeries, emphasize that the 2nd week is a critical transition. While some clinics cleared patients for travel after 7 days, our data suggests staying in Istanbul for 14 days significantly reduces flight-related swelling and discomfort.

Patient Consensus: Patients often describe the surgical drains as the most inconvenient part of early healing. Most recommend waiting until at least week 3 before flying home to ensure the most intense swelling has subsided.

Is it safe to have a lower body lift in Turkey?

A lower body lift in Turkey is safe when performed by surgeons board-certified by the Turkish Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Leading facilities in Istanbul and Ankara maintain Joint Commission International accreditation, ensuring surgical environments meet the same rigorous safety standards as top hospitals in the United States.

  • Surgeon credentials: Top doctors like Dr. Hakan Bulam hold European Board (FEBOPRAS) certifications.
  • Clinical oversight: All clinics must possess official Health Tourism Authorization from the Turkish Ministry of Health.
  • Success rates: Specialized clinics report success rates exceeding 98% for complex body contouring procedures.
  • Safety protocols: JCI-accredited hospitals like Memorial Şişli utilize advanced technologies like 512-slice CT scans.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data shows that the highest safety ratings come from multidisciplinary centers like Memorial Healthcare Group. These hospitals have full intensive care units and 90+ specialized departments. This infrastructure is critical for lower body lifts since they are major surgeries. Choosing a full-scale hospital over a boutique clinic provides an essential safety net for post-operative monitoring.

Patient Consensus: Patients emphasize that thorough research into ISAPS-certified surgeons is vital. Many recommend budgeting for a 14-day stay to ensure proper wound healing before flying home.

Are the results of a lower body lift permanent?

Lower body lift results are permanent because surgeons physically remove excess skin and fat cells during the procedure. While these tissues cannot grow back, the longevity of your new silhouette depends on maintaining a stable weight and managing the natural effects of aging over time.

  • Tissue removal: Excised skin and fat cells are permanently gone from the body.
  • Weight stability: Results remain optimal if weight fluctuates by no more than 10-15 pounds.
  • Aging process: Natural skin elasticity decreases over decades, potentially causing very gradual, minor loosening.
  • Muscle repair: Tightened abdominal muscles provide a lasting internal corset effect for the midsection.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data from top Istanbul clinics shows that high-volume surgeons, like those performing over 1,000 procedures annually, often prioritize advanced suturing techniques. Clinicians like Dr. Murat Yaman use VASER technology to refine contours, which helps the skin adhere more firmly to the underlying muscle for more durable results compared to traditional methods.

Patient Consensus: Patients who maintain their weight for at least 6 months before surgery report the highest long-term satisfaction. Many emphasize that committing to a protein-rich diet and consistent strength training is essential to locking in their surgical transformation for years.

How long must I stay in Turkey for a lower body lift?

A lower body lift in Turkey requires a stay of 10 to 14 days for optimal safety. This window includes 2 to 3 nights of hospital monitoring followed by outpatient recovery. Surgeons typically remove surgical drains between day 7 and day 10 before clearing patients for international flights.

  • Hospital stay: Expect 2 to 3 nights for immediate post-operative care and pain management.
  • Drain removal: Surgeons usually remove surgical drains between day 7 and day 10.
  • Total trip: Plan for 12 to 14 days to ensure wound stability before travel.
  • Work return: Most patients resume sedentary desk work within 2 to 4 weeks.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While some clinics suggest a 7-day stay, our data shows high-volume centers like Estetik International recommend longer windows for 360-degree lifts. Staying 10+ days is crucial because complications like seroma often peak around day 8. Extending your hotel stay by just 2 days can significantly reduce the risk of needing emergency care once you return home.

Patient Consensus: Many patients find that flying before day 10 increases swelling discomfort significantly. Most recommend booking flexible hotel nights in Istanbul to allow for proper walking-stability assessments before the long-haul flight home.

Who is an ideal candidate for a lower body lift?

Ideal candidates for a lower body lift are adults with significant skin laxity around the midsection, hips, and thighs. Successful patients typically maintain a stable weight for 6 to 12 months and possess a body mass index under 30. This procedure primarily facilitates post-bariatric body contouring and circumferential skin removal.

  • Weight stability: Maintain a healthy, constant weight for at least 6 consecutive months.
  • Skin condition: Presence of extensive, non-retractable sagging skin affecting the entire lower torso.
  • Health status: Non-smokers without chronic conditions like uncontrolled diabetes to ensure proper healing.
  • Aesthetic goal: Seeking circumferential tightening rather than active weight loss or fat reduction.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data from top Istanbul clinics shows that surgeons like Dr. Selchuk Aytach, who leads the Post-Bariatric Surgery Association, prioritize patients who have completed their weight loss journey. While the US average price is $25,000, Turkey offers specialized contouring for $3,200 to $5,400. Patients with a BMI drop from 35 to under 30 often see the highest satisfaction rates when choosing dedicated post-bariatric specialists over general plastic surgeons.

Patient Consensus: Many patients emphasize that while scars are permanent and circumferential, the trade-off for removing heavy, overhanging skin is life-changing. Ideal candidates are those who view this surgery as the final stage of their transformation and have realistic expectations about the 12-to-18-month scar maturation process.

What is typically included in a Turkey lower body lift surgery package?

A typical Turkey lower body lift surgery package includes the surgical procedure, general anesthesia, and 3 to 5 nights of hospital stay. Most bundles also provide 4 to 8 nights in a 4 or 5-star hotel, VIP airport-to-clinic transfers, and a dedicated personal coordinator.

  • Surgical scope: Removal of excess skin and fat from the abdomen, back, and hips.
  • Hospital care: Includes 3 to 5 nights in private rooms with 24/7 nursing support.
  • Post-op supplies: Clinics provide initial pain medications, antibiotics, and medical-grade compression garments.
  • Logistics: Packages cover VIP car transfers between the airport, hotel, and the clinic.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While many clinics offer a 1-night hospital stay, our data shows top-rated centers like Memorial Şişli Hospital or Estetik International often include longer stays. For a high-impact procedure like a 360-degree lift, 3 to 5 hospital nights provide significantly better safety monitoring during the critical first 48 hours.

Patient Consensus: Patients recommend confirming if stage-2 compression garments are included, as standard packages often only provide the initial set. Expect to stay at least 14 days total in Turkey to ensure you are stable enough for the flight home.

What is the typical recovery timeline for a lower body lift?

A lower body lift recovery requires 4 to 8 weeks of major physical restrictions before returning to most daily activities. While patients typically resume light walking within 3 days, full tissue healing and scar maturation at clinics like Dr. MED or Memorial Şişli Hospital generally take 6 to 12 months.

  • Hospital stay: Most patients remain hospitalized for 1 to 2 nights for professional monitoring.
  • Initial mobility: Short, assisted walks begin by day 3 to maintain healthy blood circulation.
  • Drain management: Surgical drains are typically removed within 7 to 21 days after surgery.
  • Activity restrictions: Patients must avoid bending at the waist for the first 3 to 6 weeks.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing a clinic with specialized post-bariatric expertise, such as Estetik International Istanbul led by Dr. Selchuk Aytach, significantly impacts recovery. Their experience in managing extensive skin removal often includes 24/7 care coordination. This professional support can help international patients safely navigate the critical first 10 days before flying home.

Patient Consensus: Many patients find the first 2 weeks the most challenging due to limited mobility and reliance on walkers. Mental fatigue or low mood can peak around week 4, making consistent assistance at home essential for a smooth transition.

Will I have visible scars after a lower body lift?

A lower body lift in Turkey results in permanent scars along the lower abdomen, hips, and back. Surgeons use a circumferential belt-like incision strategically placed to remain hidden under most underwear or swimwear. These scars typically fade from red to fine, pale lines within 12 to 24 months.

  • Incision placement: Surgeons position scars low on the hips to ensure concealment by standard bikini bottoms.
  • Post-bariatric techniques: Specialized closure methods are used to minimize tension and prevent wide, noticeable scarring.
  • Fading timeline: Scars appear darkest at 3 months but flatten and lighten significantly after 1 year.
  • Essential aftercare: Using silicone sheets and SPF 30+ protection for 12 months optimizes the healing process.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing a surgeon with post-bariatric expertise is vital for minimizing scar width. Dr. Selchuk Aytach at Estetik International leads the Post-Bariatric Surgery Association and uses advanced tension-reduction techniques. This specific experience often results in narrower scars compared to general plastic surgery approaches, as noted in patient volume trends.

Patient Consensus: While scars are long and initially dark, the dramatic improvement in body contour makes the trade-off worth it. Most feel confident knowing the permanent belt-line scar stays hidden under clothing once fully healed.

What services are commonly included in Turkish lower body lift packages?

Turkish lower body lift packages commonly bundle the 360-degree circumferential surgery with essential medical and logistical services. These all-inclusive deals typically include surgeon fees, anesthesiology, preoperative blood tests, and 2 to 5 nights of hospitalization in JCI-accredited facilities for specialized monitoring.

  • Medical evaluations: Includes comprehensive blood works and physical exams before surgery.
  • Clinical stay: Covers 2 to 5 nights in private hospital rooms with nursing.
  • Post-op essentials: Packages provide initial pain medications and antibiotics for early recovery.
  • Logistics: Includes VIP airport transfers and 5 to 10 nights at 4-star hotels.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While many listings suggest a standard 1-night hospital stay, our data shows that high-volume clinics like Memorial Şişli Hospital often extend stays to 3 nights for complex body contouring. This extra clinical supervision significantly aids early drain management and mobility before you transition to a hotel.

Patient Consensus: Patients emphasize that while surgery and transfers are covered, medical compression garments often require an extra $100 to $200. Most recommend budgeting an additional 20% for these supplies and potential extra medication once discharged from the hospital.

What are the health risks associated with a lower body lift in Turkey?

A lower body lift in Turkey involves risks typical of major surgery. These include wound breakdown, seroma, and infection. Patients also face risks regarding deep vein thrombosis (DVT) during long-haul travel. Safety is managed through JCI-accredited facilities. Surgeons with European Board (EBOPRAS) certifications specialise in post-bariatric care.

  • Wound healing: Large incisions may experience tension or reopening. These require meticulous wound management.
  • Fluid accumulation: Seromas are common. Clinics like Dr. Safa Manav Clinic provide 24-hour support.
  • Blood clots: Long flights increase DVT risks. Surgeons recommend waiting before flying back to Australia.
  • Aftercare access: Limited local follow-up can complicate recovery. Telehealth options help bridge this gap.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data shows that "all-inclusive" does not always mean "all-medical". Packages often include transfers and hotels. However, the safest profiles come from clinics like Memorial Şişli. This was the first clinic in Turkey to earn JCI accreditation. Prioritise clinics that offer 24/7 monitoring and clear protocols for managing recovery issues.

Patient Consensus: Patients treat this as major surgery with significant recovery time. They suggest planning for wound care and drain management. Ensure a clear emergency contact is available once back in Australia.

How can I verify the safety and qualifications of my surgeon for a lower body lift in Turkey?

Verify surgeon qualifications by confirming Turkish Board or European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) certification. Make sure the procedure occurs in a Joint Commission International (JCI) accredited hospital. Facilities like Memorial Şişli Hospital or Lokman Hekim Istanbul Hospital provide high surgical standards and intensive care.

Who is the ideal candidate for a lower body lift in Turkey?

The ideal candidate for a lower body lift in Turkey typically has sagging skin around the abdomen, buttocks, and thighs after significant weight loss. Candidates must maintain a stable weight for 6 to 12 months. They usually need a BMI under 32 for safety.

  • Weight stability: Candidates should maintain a steady weight for at least 6 months before surgery.
  • BMI requirements: Most Turkish specialists prefer a BMI under 30 or 32 for better results.
  • Skin condition: Ideal for individuals with loose, hanging skin that diet or exercise cannot fix.
  • Smoking status: Non-smokers heal more reliably and have lower risk of skin tissue death.
  • Family planning: Women should complete their childbearing as future pregnancies can undo surgical results.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Turkish specialists like Dr Selchuk Aytach, president of the Post-Bariatric Surgery Association, specialise in these complex cases. Data shows that 27+ years of experience in skin removal often leads to better contour outcomes. Choosing a doctor with thousands of successful body contouring procedures reduces the risk of scar widening.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Turkey find the best results when they view the surgery as a final contouring step. They do not see it as a weight-loss tool. They suggest having help at home for wound care and compression garment changes during early recovery.

What does a lower body lift (360-degree lift) procedure in Turkey involve?

A lower body lift in Turkey involves a circumferential incision to remove excess skin and fat. Surgeons treat the abdomen, waist, flanks, and buttocks in one session. This procedure often treats sagging tissue after massive weight loss at JCI-accredited facilities.

  • Circumferential excision: Removes a belt-like strip of skin and fat around the midsection.
  • Abdominoplasty integration: Tightens abdominal muscles and removes loose skin for a firmer contour.
  • Liposculpture: Uses VASER technology at clinics like Dr. MED to refine remaining tissue.
  • Buttock and thigh lifting: Repositions sagging tissue to smooth the lower back and outer thighs.
  • Hospital-based surgery: Performed in accredited centres like Memorial Şişli Hospital for maximum safety.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While basic packages start at $3,200, multi-specialty hospitals like Lokman Hekim Istanbul Hospital offer a safety advantage. They provide 200+ beds and 35 departments. This provides immediate specialist support for complex, long surgeries like the 360-degree lift.

Patient Consensus: Many travellers choose Turkey for all-inclusive packages covering 2–3 nights in hospital and 24-hour support. Patients recommend allowing 4–6 weeks for recovery and prioritising surgeons with specific post-bariatric experience.
