How Much Does Bone marrow biopsy Cost in Turkey?

Bone marrow biopsy in Turkey typically costs from $200 to $700. The final price depends on the city, the hematologist's expertise, and any needed lab analysis. Patients save approximately 82% compared to the US, where this diagnostic costs $2,200 on average. Some clinics in Istanbul and Ankara include consultations within their packages.

  • Hematologist expertise: Highly experienced professors or department heads often charge more for their specialized interpretation.
  • City location: Clinics in Istanbul or Ankara may have higher prices than those in regional cities.
  • Advanced lab tests: Additional cytogenetic or molecular analysis of the sample will increase the total cost.
  • Clinic certification: Facilities with JCI accreditation often have a different pricing structure for international patients.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing a bundled program may offer better value than booking a biopsy alone. For example, some clinics offer comprehensive hematology packages for approximately $3,600. These programs include a PET/CT, MRI, multiple consultations, and even VIP transfers from the airport. Anadolu Medical Center is a top choice as it partners with Johns Hopkins Medicine International. This clinic also features a world-renowned hematologist who founded Turkey’s largest bone marrow transplant center. Medical Park Bahcelievler Hospital is another leader, performing more bone marrow transplants than any other Turkish clinic lately.

Data verified by Bookimed as of June 2026, based on patient requests and official quotes from 51 clinics worldwide. Median costs are based on real invoices (2025–2026) and updated monthly. Actual prices may vary.

Anyway, he is willing to do the bone marrow analysis which will give us some answers
It was very good. Dr. just didn't seem to know much about hereditary alpha tryptasemia but in fairness, it is very hard to find a Dr. who knows this information. Anyway, he is willing to do the bone marrow analysis which will give us some answers.
I liked Dr and the consultant who helped us.
Would like it if he knew more about our condition but not many do.
