All in all was very impressed
During my consultation, the surgeon and I discussed what results would best suit my specific facial symmetry. This set the tone for the entire process. I didn't have any expectations and all in all was very impressed. I went alone which can make one feel more vulnerable but I was well taken care of and extended a lot of grace for my forgetfulness. My procedure was on both upper eyelids, and while it's too early to tell the final outcome, I can confirm there were no additional expenses. Everything was clear. For anyone considering this, I think it's important to ask about adapting your expectations to your specific uniqueness and go in asking about results that would best suit you.

The continued support from the clinic has been the most notable part of my experience so far. I was there for Botox injections, targeting my forehead, frown lines, and crow's feet. The process was clear. What made it feel so straightforward was the good communication from start to finish, and I found the team to be a very friendly, professional staff. They answered all my questions. I received between 21 and 40 units, and the final bill had no additional expenses, which was a relief. It is still too early to tell what the full results will be, but the clinic has stayed in touch since the procedure, which I appreciate.

The surgery went perfectly
My biggest concern was the coordination from afar, but communication was excellent from start to finish, and all transport was efficient. The surgery went perfectly. The initial results are looking good. The only thing I would change is the hotel; the Veyron was not the 4-star experience advertised. The photos were misleading, and my partner and I were stuck in a small room with no balcony for my recovery, in an area with very few amenities for short walks.
Communication was excellent from start to finish both from the co-ordinators and everyone at the hospital and all transport was efficient. The surgery went perfectly and the results are looking good considering it’s only been a week post op. I would definitely recommend both Bookimed and Istanbul Aesthetics.
The only thing I would change would be the hotel. The Veyron Hotel was meant to be 4 star, but it definitely wasn’t and I’ve stayed in hotels frequently all around the world. The photos were very misleading in terms of the general appearance of the hotel and the facilities. There was only one small terrace at the front of the hotel where people generally went to smoke (we don’t so it’s not pleasant) and our room had no balcony, so me and my partner were basically stuck in a small room for the week of my recovery and the area the hotel was in had very little in the way of shops/ cafes etc when I was able to do short walks. It would have been nice to stay in a resort where we could relax outside to enjoy the sun and eat in different restaurants without having to pay for a taxi.

What stood out was this genuine care that the end result was as good as was possible
The doctor was good and appears to have done a good job. I didn't feel like a number; he seemed to want to get the best outcome possible and it meant something to him. What stood out was this genuine care that the end result was as good as was possible. The procedure was under general anesthesia, and my recovery is progressing about as expected. The clinic itself is great. The only issue was with the night staff, who didn't seem to know what they were doing as much as the day staff did. The clinic has stayed in touch afterward, which is reassuring. One thing to note is that there were additional expenses for take-home medications, which I think should have been included in the initial quote. For future patients, I’d say most things are covered under general expectations, so no special preparation was needed.
The Dr was good and appears to have done a good job. I didn't feel like a number, he seemed to want to get the best outcome possible and it meant something to him.
The night staff didn't really seem to know what they were doing as much as the day staff.
