Prof. Dr. Emeka Nkenke is an Austrian oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He holds both medical and dental degrees and a doctorate in theoretical medicine. He is Professor and Head of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Medical University of Vienna. He is also a consultant at Wiener Privatklinik.
He previously served as a full professor at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg and as Head of Department at Halle University. He is internationally recognized for virtual surgical planning and patient-specific implants. His expertise also includes orthognathic surgery, craniofacial reconstruction, cleft lip and palate surgery, microvascular jaw reconstruction, distraction osteogenesis, and guided dental implant surgery. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery and serves on the editorial boards of other journals.
