Everything was handled well
I remember my conversation with the surgeon clearly. What stood out most was that he was honest about the risks and complications, which set a transparent tone for the entire process of getting my VP shunt. So far, I'm feeling about as expected in my recovery. The clinic staff has been supportive and they stayed in touch with me after the surgery. I can also confirm there were no additional expenses on top of what was originally quoted. Everything was handled well. My one piece of advice for a future patient would be to bring plenty of reading material for the downtime.

My biggest concern before the trip was the impersonal nature of a large clinic. This was not the case at all. I underwent a craniotomy for a meningioma, and the entire approach felt very focused on my well-being. To put it simply, "The Surgeon was very warm including the staff," which made a real difference. The entire process was efficient and well-structured; the schedule was tight but normal, leaving no room for uncertainty. I am still in early recovery, but I feel the medical care I received was competent and the right decision for my health.

Having made an initial enquiry on line, I was impressed by the follow up and treatment proposals and costs I did some research and determined that I needed to get the very best medical attention It was a great help to have somebody with me during the day of the tests, sorting my papers and dealing with translation. I am writing a review for those people who are in the same difficult situation as our family. Just want to warn, think before you go here. They did not help us ... Moreover, now we understand that they simply did not tell us the truth, promised treatment that everything would be fine and we believed in it, sincerely! They didn’t save on treatment, did everything they recommended, but they just cheerlessly pumped chemistry and prescribed unnecessary consultations like a physiotherapist with charging a hopelessly sick person !!! The company "phoenix" is a soulless creature with the function of receiving money, I don’t even know how to call them anymore ... Doctor Professor Eger also smiled on detours and said that everything would be fine and didn’t even tell the family that the situation was getting worse, she appointed procedures ... As we now understand, everything was clear for a long time, we just wanted to be "treated" because we paid. They tortured our daddy heartlessly and cynically for money !!! Curator Stoyanova stopped responding to letters and the phone immediately, as soon as they informed her that the patient no longer exists. NO ONE! neither she, nor "phoenix", nor the clinic, they even expressed condolences ... It hurts to realize that nothing human is left in people ... We scolded our Russian doctors, and they just told us the truth right away

We are discharging from the hospital, we will keep in touch with this doctor. The procedures go terribly, there is no specific treatment prescribed yet, there is no diagnosis. Besides the fact that my daughter eats, has lunch, has dinner as in a usual sanatorium, they just rip off 600-700 euros per night - a lot of money when you don’t see the result, why stay, just overnight to pay money. I am not happy with the visit.

There was an operation on the soft palate and a gastrocheck. The professor surgeon, a conscientious and attentive person, did an excellent job. There would be more such specialists. I have questions for the accompanying Russian office, nurses and ultrasound doctor: 1) The catheter was installed only the fourth time, and as a result, I now have a damaged vein in my arm that can no longer be restored 2) the ultrasound doctor found two cysts in the thyroid, 1.2 cm each , although this had never happened before, upon arrival home I did a double check, the cysts turned out to be 1.2 mm each, perhaps in the conclusion the comma was placed in the wrong place, or the fact that the doctor was very young 3) support and organization for 3, they took payment for a separate fee, but except for me there was also a man. They promised to recalculate, but they never did, after 3 months. Then I sent photographs to show them to the professor to make sure that everything was ok with the larynx, I first checked whether it was possible to send them. I've been waiting two weeks for an answer, and now they're completely ignoring me. The impression is that after receiving payment, attention and interest in the patient ends.

Not good. The people that I had appointments with did not show up. I met with others who seemed to doubt my records and then claimed that my medical imaging showed no problems whatsoever. I returned home and now seem to have pneumonia in the top of my lungs around the vertebra that are known to have lesions (T1,T2,T3). I consider your service to be a fraud.

"In general, I am satisfied with the result
I underwent an online consultation on the choice of the most optimal treatment option. Since two well-known Moscow clinics gave completely different recommendations for the treatment of my disease (spleen lymphoma): surgical removal of the spleen, or chemotherapy, I decided to ask the opinion of a German professor. Of course, it is very expensive to be treated in Germany, but getting a competent opinion on your specific case, sending all the necessary tests, diagnostics and receiving answers and a treatment regimen, is quite possible: my online consultation cost 650 euros + a written summary with translation into Russian. The whole process, from collecting documents / analyzes, to receiving the final summary, was accompanied by the coordinating doctor Alexey from Bookimed, to whom I am very grateful. He is very responsive, always in touch, answers all questions, but at the same time he is tactful and unobtrusive - a real professional and a very kind person. So, I received answers to my questions, chose the tactics of treatment, and all this for a very reasonable fee. The only drawback is the excess of the stated deadlines, which is not typical, as I think, for the Germans (the consultation was promised within 7 days, in fact it took place 15 days after payment, and the final summary was delayed for a couple of days), it would be better to immediately position the maximum period , then there would be no painful days of waiting. In general, I am satisfied with the result. I think in my case, this is just a very convenient form of counseling that does not require huge material and organizational costs associated with physical travel abroad. I bow to the coordinator Alexei for his patience, tact and professionalism!

The doctor promptly worked because he didn’t see the problem in his direction and redirected us to orthopedists where we were also promptly given an x-ray. Nord Clinics Alyan is very accurate in the organization, that is, we were met minute by minute in time, I want to mention Karina, a girl translator, who accompanied us all the time, no delays, no extra calls.

"We definitely would not have such a result
I did a similar operation 20 years ago in Germany - now it’s definitely better, now the postoperative period has been reduced to a day and it is less painful. The hospital is good, double ward and the conditions are comfortable. There is a shower in the room, it’s convenient. We spoke with Ralph Bull, a doctor before the operation. After the first consultation, there remained uncertainty whether to do the operation or not. In this regard, doctors are careful and if there is a risk of surgery with complications, they can offer injections and physiotherapy, which is cheaper and safer. Nevertheless, in my case, the doctor once again reviewed the MRI and decided to do the operation. Adequate treatment, do not inject too much, gave pain medication. In general, everything is fine, the postoperative period is small and everything is good so far. We definitely would not have such a result.
