What really stood out was sitting with my surgeon as he so carefully measured and marked my upper eyelids. He was very honest about what to expect from the recovery and potential scarring, which I appreciated. The procedure was done with just local anesthesia. I'm still in the early healing stages, but I am feeling better than expected so far. The clinic team has stayed in touch to check in on me, and there were no additional expenses at all. I can't even think of any advice for a future patient, because the clinic provided all the necessary information beforehand. I couldn't have wanted for more.

My coordinator, Mariia, was absolutely fantastic
My coordinator, Mariia, was absolutely fantastic. I can't praise her enough. Nothing was too much trouble; she was there for every query and took the stress out of the whole process. Waking up from surgery, I was personally visited by Professor Gemalmaz, whose skill as a surgeon is matched by his outstanding consideration and kindness. My procedure was for joint preservation, so no implant was used, and I'm feeling better than I expected so far. The clinic has stayed in touch. There will be further expenses for physiotherapy and medications, but both Bookimed and the professor helped keep these additional costs to a minimum. My advice for future patients at Sisli Memorial Hospital in Istanbul is to bring your passport and a credit card, as you may need it to pay for your discharge.
The co ordinator Mariia was absolutely fantastic. I can't praise her enough. Nothing was too much trouble she was there for every query and extremely helpful at sorting everything out. She was absolutely invaluable. She took the stress out of the whole process.
There was nothing that could have been better, the coordinator Mariia always exceeded expectations.

The operation was difficult, as it involved the trigeminal nerve and there was a risk of injury to nearby nerves. However, thanks to the professionalism and high qualifications of the professor, everything went well. He performed the procedure with jewellery precision, minimising possible risks and ensuring an excellent result. The Medical Park clinic also impressed with its high level of service, attentive attitude to patients and modern technological base. I felt in safe hands from the moment of consultation to the end of the rehabilitation period. Dr Sait has worked wonders
On the 18th he underwent surgery with a vagus nerve stimulator on the 25th and it was connected. Dr Sait has worked wonders. Daytime seizures are very rare but nighttime seizures have changed completely. I am 35 years old and so far only the first connection 0.25 paediatric dose and 5 more connections. Thank you to the neurologist Dr Yemmir who agreed to treat me. For all my years my encephalogram is finally normal. I am from abroad. I don't live in Istanbul. But I thank the whole clinic, all the doctors, all the interpreters, all the staff.
