Dr. Maja Malić specialized in otorhinolaryngology at the University Clinic in Skopje. She has done some of her specialization at the prestigious Clinics in Michigan, USA and Würzburg, Germany. She has trained and actively participated in numerous international courses and congresses in otorhinolaryngology and plastic surgery in Barcelona, Paris, Milan, Berlin, Prague, USA, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, Switzerland and elsewhere.Her main area of interest is plastic and reconstructive facial surgery, functional and aesthetic nose surgery, and endoscopic sinus surgery. She has an extensive experience in rhinos and rhinosceptoplasty, otoplasty and minimally invasive rejuvenation methods. Independently and in collaboration with neurosurgeons and ophthalmologists, she performed complex endoscopic operations of the sinus, base of the skull, brain and eye cavity.
After completing her specialization, she took the Otorhinolaryngology exam in Vienna before the European Council and was named Fellow of the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (FEB ORL-HNS). The title is awarded to otolaryngologists who have successfully passed the written and oral exam at European level. She is an active member of the European Rhinological Society and other domestic and international organizations.
