I still didn’t believe, then she offered to talk through phone call and we discussed our needs/expectations. Since then around 1 year Hanna was keeping in touch with me supporting with arrangements of our daughter’s eye surgery. Through Bookimed we were able to book an appointment with Dr. Stifter, the best paediatric eye doctor in Vienna, Austria and she conducted the surgery herself and her team. All doctors in her team are professionals, Dobling hospital is very clean and well equipped. Surgery costed for us €10000 with one night stay at the hospital. One just small negative thing is after surgery check up at Professor Stifter’s office costed another €400, in my opinion is a lot, where we also additionally paid €500 for before surgery check up at the same place. In overall, surgery was successful and we are thankful to Bookimed services(the cost for Bookimed services was included in the total amount of €10000, around € 1800 for patient management services).

Hello. I just wanted to mention some of the things that happened, so that your team is in the loop of what your customers are going through. I was contacted by Dr. Sadeq, which was very pleasant to communicate with. Roman on the other hand, was not clear about anything from the beginning. Saying “don’t worry, it is okay.” After confirming the doctors, and sending all my medical files 2 weeks ahead of time, I came to realise that the doctors have no idea about my condition. I walked in to a confused doctor, not even knowing that I have heart failure. I saw this as quite unprofessional that they haven’t even had time to review my documents. Once the doctor asked for my files, Roman did not have them, and I was forced to give a brief summary of what happened. This made me feel that my case was of no interest or importance to the representative. After finally managing to see the surgeon, he said that was the only day he was available (March 2nd), and that he was flying for work elsewhere. He had asked me to come back on the 16th of March. I could not believe that, as I have paid for tickets, plus hotels for two people (my mother joining) for 10 days in Vienna, when the doctor is not even there to do the surgery I was supposed to do. Do you know what the costs are of this mishap? After that, we ended up seeing another cardiologist recommended by the cardio surgeon. He was great, but when we came back the next day for ROman’s set appointment, it turns out there was no appointment, and he “had to go” and left me to deal with the hospital. The communication with Roman was horrible. I was just waiting in the lobby for 3 days not knowing what will happen, what are the fees, and no warnings or consultations. Especially when an x-ray costs 2,500 euros, I would have appreciated an initial warning of the costs. Not just “come pay” style that he has. That is as much as the biopsy, which I will still have to do in the future. I have experience with companies like yours, but the unprofessionalism, lack of communication, and unorganisation is unprecedented. I am going out of my way just to clarify what my experience was with your team, with handling things. The hospital and doctors were great. It was just the missteps by Roman that was upsetting.

I was most concerned about the communication between my oncologists and the administrators. This aspect turned out to be impeccable. The coordination was truly outstanding. I arrived when the stage had already been determined, which simplified the process. However, to fully understand the treatment method, I had to ask clarifying questions, and only one therapy option was recommended. It's still too early to talk about changes in symptoms, as I am in the early stages of recovery. My main advice for people in similar situations seeking treatment abroad is to definitely get a second opinion.

My biggest concern was the anxiety around getting a full-body CT scan, but that worry disappeared quickly. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel comfortable and explained every single step, which was incredibly reassuring. The clinic was clean and organized, and the medical team was both professional and genuinely kind throughout the entire process. Everything went smoothly. I had an operation on 16 October 2025. It was performed by the very best doctor, Igor Pona. The procedure was an otoplasty. I really liked the clinic where the operation took place.The clinic’s medical staff were always there for me and kept asking how I was feeling. I am also very grateful to the staff at Bookimed for arranging transport. They took me to the clinic for the operation and brought me home afterwards.I am very pleased with the results of my surgery, three months on. I am very grateful to Dr Egor Pona, and indeed to the entire staff at the Bookimed clinic.

From the very beginning, things went smoothly, clearly and quickly. Very pleasant conversation, no waiting, clear information about payment and with, the outcome exactly as agreed. A great advantage and relief is that before the actual payment and the continuation of the treatment, the doctor's CV is offered, it is not that you are forced to cooperate with a certain one.

My opinion is that, even though it's a business the core of it is the desire to help people who want to regain their health as much as possible back, the emotional intelligence and a necessary level of empathy and expertise which everyone from the clinic showed me.

I didn’t like the moment that we were eventually recorded to another doctor. I liked the doctor, but we did not have an examination, that is, only a consultation, in general I did not get exactly what I wanted. Lor did not like it at all, did not receive any new information from him, was not happy with the translator, most of what we said he did not know and did not translate

The trip to the clinic went smoothly and without incident. We were met at the airport, helped with renting an apartment on a daily basis and introduced us to the clinic. the trip to the clinic was usually. I got advice, paid a doctor, translator and intermediary, did not receive receipts for these payments. But I don’t understand what the bonus actually consisted of, which I ordered through Bookimed and how to really get it. After this trip, I again received a letter about the bonus, but, in my opinion, these letters really do not cost anything.

I was very satisfied with the level of the doctor's consultation, I hope the treatment will also be effective, but the organization wants the best. I've been waiting for a written doctor's opinion for a week now. Consultations and examinations did not follow the schedule.
